Ouch. This is a beautiful shoe but way too high for comfort. Those of us who have small feet just cannot wear such high heels - that is simply the nature of the best - and the Wander unfortunately fits into that category. I would say it fits a half size small however and is on the narrow of medium for width. This is absolutely a sitting-down only shoe. Also, I fear that the crystals will fall off with use. That has happened to me with two other pairs of Stuart's.

Beautiful shoe! Got in grey suede and loved it so much, got the rootbeer patent, too. Very comfortable, wear them all day at work. Well worth the expense.

This is the greatest shoe ever! So comfortable, wish it came in more colors. I need a wedge type shoe because my store has cement floors so a wedge is much easier on my back and feet, plus it is stylish and I have gotten a ton of compliments on them!

I just bought these and probably bought them slightly too large but I've inserted a gel pad under the ball of my foot and they fit pretty well now. They are great looking shoes but not nearly as comfortable as I would have assumed from the photo. Even though as I said I bought them a half size too large, after a few hours my foot feels pinched from the sides. I have a fairly wide foot - maybe the style is just too narrow. I love the looks of them but wish they were more comfortable.

I bought this boot in the Green Hills Mall (Nashville, TN) after seeing it in the window display. I had been searching for a "classy" thigh-high boot everywhere. The quality and design are superior. The price is expensive, but the product is well worth it because you are paying for quality and design. I get many compliments on these boots because they are so different and unique. The boots are perfectly true to size for me and very comfortable.

Fantastic and comfortable. The reviews were right! These are very comfortable and leg-lengthening. I have very slim but shortish calves on a 5'7" frame. I prefer boots with a little heel to elongate my lower legs a bit and was hesitant to go with the 1" heel. My fears were unfounded, though, because these boots really visually lengthen your legs. I wouldn't hesitate buying these even if you're short. On my calves, which are the length of most women who are maybe 5'6", these hit just at the top of my knee cap. Note that these conform very much to your legs, so if you are bowlegged or knock-kneed, they will not disguise that. Also, if your upper thighs are a bit large and you normally like to balance them out with a bit of bulk at your ankle, these will not provide that either and could emphasize the size difference. There's also extra length in the foot. I usually wear an 8 with plenty of room for thick socks and a 3/4 insole, and even with those, there's extra room at the toe. Sizing down might not be good, though because they'd probably be too narrow. If you have a long, narrow foot, you might want to consider going down a 1/2 size. These go great with tunics and sweater dresses, as well as skinny jeans as long as you have very slim thighs.

Comfort Issue - I bought this shoe at Nordstrom because I love it. It's a beautiful shoe but it hurts the top of several of my toes so much that I'm considering having to return it or not wear it. I can't even explain what I think the problem is and I wish I knew. The length is just right, but the width of the toe box may be an issue. Also because it's patent, I don't think it will become more bearable with time.

Only wonderful. Have wanted a warm pair of shoes for so long. They will be great for our Michigan winters, so comfy. True to size, easy to put on, great shoes. Wonderful Zappos service as always.

I was a little nervous when they showed up in a plain label brown box instead of the normal Stuart Weitzman purple box; I thought they might not be real SW. After I looked them over, I could tell the high quality of the shoes and they're very comfortable. They're beautiful shoes and they look great with skirts or pants!

Aptly named shoe! These are slightly clunkier than I would have preferred, but I got them in both black and brown, and they are the ones I reach for every day when getting ready for work. They just work. They're comfortable without being sloppy and professional without being rigid.

The service at Zappos is unbelievable. They got the shoes to me quicker than I could have gone to the store to buy them. I had been looking for these particular shoes, so I knew they would fit. But in the past when I was just shopping, and had to try the shoes on once they arrived, if a pair didn't fit Zappos return was also easier than going to the store, and free! And Stuart Weitzman shoes are the best for comfort, fit, and style.

These are an absolute steal at this price! I have another pair of this sandal in a different color and love them. I usually have to pad my shoes, but I can walk in these for quite a while without any problem. What isn't particularly obvious from the photo is that the heel is actually a metallic, silver which makes it even prettier. Worth full price, but truly worth it on sale!

A very practical shoe. It isn't nearly as stylish and fashion-forward as other Stuart Weitzman shoes, but fits the bill as a great NYC walking shoe. I wanted a high heeled shoe that would work with suits and skirts, but would be comfortable all day long. This shoe is so terrific, I bought it in black and brown. It fits true to size and was comfortable the first time I put it on.

I love Stuart Weitzman boots and have about six pairs of various materials and heights. These rank up there with the best. They are ultra comfortable and the leather is soft and beautiful. I could wear his boots and especially these all year round. My feet are not easy to please and these are the greatest!

I just love Zappos, especially this new Hiho boot. It is very elegant. I am 57 years old and I thought wearing above the knee boots would be too young, but not this one. It exudes class, elegance, sophistication and yes it makes me feel younger, too. It is by far the most comfortable boot I own and I own several.

These are beautiful shoes, but unfortunately my heels kept slipping out of them. I bought heel guards but those didn't work either. The quality is amazing, like all SW shoes, and I love the gray flannel, but they simply didn't work for me. Bummer.

Absolutely perfect! These boots are perfect! The heel height is not too low or too high. They are so very comfy and look great with skirts and pants. They fit like a glove and I purchased my normal size. I have about 80 pair of Weitzman in my closet (I am a bit of a shoe freak) and these have become one of my favorites already. Worth every penny. Treat yourself to a pair; you can't find a better boot or a better place to purchase from than Zappos!

AMAZING - These shoes are actually VERY comfortable, I own several Stuart Weitzman shoes and usually wear a 9 or 9 1/2. In this shoe, I was an 8 1/2. They have a great rubber bottom sole which makes them easy to walk in.
