I've had most years of the Hurricane and I love the shoe. I couldn't wait to get them this year with the new technology. However, the back of the shoe is now cut higher and it cuts into the back of my ankle, even with socks on. Sorry I had to return them and order the Hurricane 13 with the lower cut back
I'd also recommend: another Saucony shoe

Love the stability. Would like a little cushioning as well, but that can be fixed with inserts. Overall a great, wide shoe.

I have been wearing the Hurricane for many years, even with the different colors and updates the fit was always slipper comfortable with no break in period. I am disappointed in that the width seems to be narrower with this update. I can't wear them any more than 6 miles without friction in the forefoot. So sad!

I have been wearing Saucony Hurricane's for years with no problems. Unfortunately, the latest version has a smaller toe box that has led to blisters and major discomfort by mile 3. Not sure if this is a universal problem or just a single, defective shoe, but Zappos kindly agreed to let me exchange for another style which I hope works out better.

I've run in Mizuno, years of ASICS, and Brooks in the past, just tried these on and fell in love. Great run today with no break-in period. Feels like I'm running on a cloud. Was worried they are so pricey but won't look back now!
