I cannot say enough good things about these sandals! Firstly, I have a 3yr old, and have purchased the Hoy Original Salt Water Sandal, in at least four colors, every year for her, and they are the best. They are just a basic, plain leather sandal that goes with everything. I hate the new sandals with all the characters and rhinestones on them, so these add a classy touch to any outfit. This year I decided to try this version of their sandal, and am just as pleased as with the originals. The extra cushion of the sole is nice, and the leather always wears well, and forms to the foot. I agree with the other reviewers, that these run about a half-size shorter than the other Hoy sandals, so you may want to go a size up. My daughter wears a size 7 in the original version, with growing room. The size 7 in this Sharks version fits her perfectly, without any growing room. Either way, Hoy is my absolute favorite sandal for my daughter, although I do wish the Sharks version came in more colors!

I absolutely love these sandals for my little girl. This is her 3rd summer and she has worn salt water sandals for each one! That's about 2 pairs a summer because of her growing feet. If I could she'd have them in every color. This was my first time ordering from Zappos, but I will gladly do it again!

These are by far the best sandals we\'ve ever purchased for our daughter. She looks at a new pair of shoes as a challenge - in a "what can I do to these?" sort of way. The Sharks have held up through it all. Water check. Sand check. A busy 3 year old check. My favorite part? Unlike every other pair of white sandals we\'ve ever had, the toes on these are still unscraped!

I ordered Hoy Sun-San Sharks sandals for my 17 month old twin boys. I wanted something that was classic, well-constructed and durable. Well, summer is over and these sandals look barely worn! They wore these all summer, at the playground, sand box and to the beach. It was worth the cost and I will be buying new ones for next summer! Thanks Zappos!

My daughter loves these shoes - they are comfortable, and she can\'t get them undone by herself (unlike with velcro shoes), so they actually stay on.

My 10 year old wore Salt Water shoes from 2 until she grew out of them. Every summer we bought 2 pair of white and several other colors. So, I was excited to start my youngest on them now. I ordered these because the sandals met strict specifications for playground safety at her preschool. The toes and heels had to be mostly closed to prevent injuries from mulch and twigs. Received them today and they fit perfectly. However, there is absolutely no growing room. The originals I also ordered provided plenty. I suggest ordering a size larger for this style as I think the closed back design pushes the foot forward naturally.

I had been wanting to buy this style since last year. I wore this brand as a child and still do wear the adult style and love it! The sharks run true to size and are absolutely adorable! The only drawback for us is that my son (2 years old) has wide feet. The sides rub his inside arches and create blisters. I am hoping we will get them broken in and this will no longer happen. Right now, he doesn't want to wear them, so we're going to let them rest a while until he's ready to give them another try. I would say that if your little one has narrower to average width feet, these should be comfy with no break in period at all.

These shoes are my favorites for summer for my boys. They are water safe. They look cool and are inexpensive. They are comfortable. I love the colors. I only wish they came in bigger sizes. What could be better? Thank you Zappos! I never would have found them with you. But Zappos always rocks!

These were really cute but my daughter couldn't get them on her foot, even unbuckling them all the way. She's normally between a 7.5-8 and narrow but an 8 in these didn't even work. We'll try some that don't come as high up the ankle.

This sandal looks great and is comfortable [nice and flexible] for my 2 year old. As some of the other reviewers have mentioned, this shoe does run a size small when you take into account where the upper is placed on the sole (toes can't extend the full length of the sole since it's closed). My daughter's foot runs on the small side, but we still had to return the first pair we ordered for a larger size. But I'm glad we did as she's already had much use of them, and summer hasn't even started! It's a versatile style: works dressed-up or dressed-down. My older daughter has the original salt water sandal (also a Zappos purchase) and she loves those, too.

These shoes are great! Every time my son wears this sandal he gets compliments on how cute they are. I bought this shoe last and they wear a little big and now they fit him just right, now I'm getting a new pair for this summer! Very durable fine leather.
