Geez, it's only taken me over a year...but I've finally found the perfect black boot. The platform creates height without pain, the shaft is wide enough for my 15.5 inch calves. These are comfortable, a great find.

These are classic dress boots. They will be a fall/winter wardrobe staple. If you range between sizes, you will want the larger size as the foot area feels a little snug with tights. The calf fits comfortably snug, preventing bunching at the ankle.

I was looking for comfort and style at the same time and finally found it! However, I had to return them because I overlooked the calf circumference. Take the time to measure both of your calves! In my going back and forth searching through reviews because I overlooked that important fact. They were true to size and absolutely gorgeous and comfortable, other than the calf being too small.

Beautiful leather boot, perfect heel height, seems very comfortable to walk in, the platform makes the heel height even more perfect... but, alas, the ankle area is way too baggy on me. I was actually going to keep them because of all of the other good things about them, but I knew as they stretched out it would only get worse and it would make me crazy to have to pull up my boots all day long. Sad. They are going back.

I was hesitant to buy a Rockport boot because I figured it wouldn't be as stylish as I would want. I was wrong! This boot is not only comfortable but super cute. I usually buy Donald Pliner and Stuart Weitzman. This boots fits in with those brands in my closet just fine. Love IT. Also, I have a muscular calf and sometimes have trouble getting the zipper up on tall boots. Extended calf sizes are too large for me, though. This one fit perfectly.

Love the style on these boots! The leather looks really nice and the slightly pointed toe is on trend. I am sad to have to return these due to the fit. My calves measure 14 inches around and these boots were a little too large. I was looking for something that would be a little snugger. If I was going to tuck jeans into them then they would have fit the calves better. I still would have returned them because my heal slipped out a little when I walked. Hope this helps.

Classy and comfortable, I love these boots. They fit well in the shaft on my slim calves and still leave enough room so that I can tuck in jeans. They're not so big that they make me look like I'm wearing Mommy's shoes. Because of the subtle platform the heel is not too high. Feels true to size even though my heel slips a little. I can fix that. Overall, a winner - just gorgeous.

I cannot say enough good things about these boots. Having gone through major foot issues, including surgery, I just cannot wear high heels anymore. Finding fashionable footwear that has a reasonable heel height is very challenging. These boots hit the mark! The heel is a good height and because it is thinner, it gives the illusion of being higher. The platform takes some stress off the heel and looks very elegant due to the tapering effect at the toe. This also makes pushing off the toe when walking easier and does not look as clunky as other platforms that are all the same width. The leather color is highly saturated and the chocolate brown looks high end. They do scrunch at the ankles, but I believe this is intended to be the style as with other boots like this style. The most important thing is that these boots are extremely comfortable. No breaking in needed. Great buy and I am very pleased with this purchase.

I had high hopes for these boots. The platform actually compensates for the heel height, so basically these boots are comfortable to walk in. I immediately took them to the shoe repair to replace the plastic heel tips with rubber ones. The insole would be more comfortable if it were cushioned, but otherwise it is a fine boot.

Beautiful boot. The fit in the shoe was great and very comfortable. However, I am sad to say that I have to return the boots as they are too big in the shaft.

I had been looking for boots that I could wear over my leggings and skinny jeans as well as under work pants and these fit the bill. The heel is a perfect height and the platform doesn't make you feel unstable. The leather is beautiful. I have larger than average calves and they fit like a glove. As a previous reviewer noted, extended calf sizes are too big on me as well so this is a great "in between" circumference.

These are a high quality, good looking, and feminine. I am pleasantly surprised at how stable I feel in the platform, and they look great with a dress or with jeans tucked in. I have slim calves and these are a bit big on me even with skinny jeans, but they are gorgeous and I'm glad I got them; they are very comfortable, too - a keeper.

Comfortable boot; however, it could be a little taller in the shaft and the style of the boot did nothing for the outfits I tried to match it with - too plain.

I'm really surprised at the high rating for these boots. I had high hopes and they really fell short. The boots are clunky and dumpy- not sleek and stylish like the picture made them seem. They sag around the ankle; also if you have a slimmer calf, these are huge. I returned immediately and have been much happier with Cole Haan's Air Jalisa.

I have this boot in brown and black. The calf is larger than most average boots, but is what I like. As a runner, my calves are a bit big. Looks great, feels great.
