I love these shoes. I have been wearing Merrells for years and these are the most comfortable. There is plenty of room in the toe box for my wide foot even though they are not a wide width, and they are just plain comfortable! They didn't even need a breaking in period. I also have a high arch, and the arch support is great. I will be ordering these shoes again when I need a new pair!

Not crazy about these, particularly because of the soles. The sole feels thin, and sort of cradles the foot on both sides so it feels almost like there's an arch support on both sides of the foot. Even though my feet are on the narrow side, it took a few weeks for the outside of my foot to adjust to the sole. I probably would have returned them but for the fact that I stupidly wore them right away. I do like the appearance of this shoe, though.

Great shoes. I wore them brand new for a week of hiking: no blisters. They run a little small, so I ended up returning them for a half size bigger.

What a great hiking shoe. Without any break-in period, I have already used these to go on about half a dozen hikes here in the low desert of southern California with no rubbing, no blisters, and good, lightweight traction. The only thing to remember is that they're really just a lightweight hiking shoe, not a boot, so any extended hiking or backpacking will require more protection and stiffness. But for non-wet conditions on short day hikes, these are the ticket.

I have plantar facsiitis and wore these shoes right out of the box hiking in Yosemite and the Grand Canyon. Fit perfectly and didn't need breaking in. Best walking/hiking shoes. No problems whatsoever!

I bought these shoes, in the smoke color, in a local store last year. I have medium width feet with narrow heels. I had been looking for low top hiking boots off and on for a couple of years. These were the only ones I found that fit my heels well. There was no slipping. After I injured my foot in December, these were the only shoes I owned that my doctor would let me wear. I ordered a second pair from Zappos because I wanted a darker pair. My two pair of Moab Ventilator shoes were the only shoes that I wore for two months. There was no break-in period and they are very comfortable.
