Gentle Souls

Lovely shoe, perfect pitch on the height, so very very comfortable. Nothing like a few more inches of height w/o pain! Regarding that: fashionista alert: these shoes are a lot like the famous YSL platform loafers, but affordable and way comfier. They don't look like knock-offs, just remind you of something really stylish that you may have seen before... The footbed and arch support are amazing for comfort. After wearing awhile the toe box feels tight across the band, I hoping it'll stretch out. I really look fwd to trying more Gentle Souls shoes.

I love these boots! I get more compliments on them every time I wear them. They are a bit heavy, but I love the zipper in back and the buckle. The leather is very soft too.

These shoes run half zize smaller, very comfortable and stylish. Very feminine.

This is so totally comfortable I'd like to buy more of this brand. Padding for my toes, arch and heels. Just great. I think it's all the padding that makes them feel small. The toebox is snug and the heel is loose, but not uncomfortably so. They do make my foot look wide but they're so comfortable I'm keeping them.

So cool. Would be a keeper if my inner arch didn't cut into the inner part of the shoe - perhaps due to my wide feet. Has a clog feel when walking.

My all time favorite shoes! I only wear Gentle Souls now and no foot pain, absolute softness, the greatest shoes ever! Wonderful leather and craftsmanship!

Super cute with anything. Fits true to size. I have somewhat wide feet and they swell off and on but I wear these with no problem.

Love these boots, very classy looking. Only issue is they're a little snug through the toe box. Would suggest ordering 1/2 size up, however, they slips a bit on the heel and I think any larger size would make that more troublesome.

Great boots, although they are a little more yellow that I would like. And the back clasp tends to come undone whenever you cross your legs or rub the back of your legs on something. But they are super comfortable and distinctive. The best part about them, though, is the incredible customer service I got from Zappos. You can really buy without fear of making a big mistake. These boots are beautiful and fit well. I love them and wear them often. There is a design flaw, though: the snap on the strap on the back of the calf gets caught on things sometimes and pops open. Kind of annoying and happens at least once every time I wear them. Considering the price, I find it a bit disappointing!

These shoes are such a soft leather and the padding is amazing. I am usually an 8 1/2 or 9 and sadly neither size fit me right. The 8 1/2 slipped off my heel even though it fit the ball of my foot snug. I was sad to have to return them as they would have been a great shoe for work with slacks or with skinny jeans.

Too short/ tight in the toe box and too loose in the heel. They felt a half size too small which is bad luck for me because I ordered a 10 but there's no 10.5.

These are the most comfortable boots that I have ever worn. There lots of padding and such. However; two strikes against them; they have a covered leather heel; which will not last in looks. The overall shape is weird and make your feet look a weird shape. So they are going back.

Great boot. Very comfy. Only draw back is that the strap in the back of the boot easily opens when rubbed on anything. Minor inconvenience. Love the boot and would highly recommend it.

This boot was a little big for the size marked. Perhaps recommend ordering 1/2 size down.

Funky, fun and comfortable. I am almost 60, with problem feet and had foot surgery last year; heels are usually a problem. I wear thee with a small orthotic that takes pressure off big toe. I've made it through several dressy events that had me on my feet for many hours. The comfort comes from the footbed, the substantial but fashionable heel and the very soft leather that covers problem toes without hurting. And... girls in their twenties and a fashionista friend from New York have asked me where I got such cute shoes! I have them in both colors!

I absolutely Love these boots. I waited to see if they were going to go on sale, but they haven't and I was afraid if I didn't get them, I would miss out. So, I bought them and I'm so glad I did! They are so soft the leather is high quality and the fit is perfect! So far, I've worn them with straight jeans and leggings. I agree with another reviewer that the leather is to soft to tuck jeans in. Oh and also, they are very comfortable and have great support, this coming from a person with feet issues, this means a lot! These have found a home in my closet along side my La Canadienne boots.

Super comfy...these get lots of attention and positive comments. Fit true to size on my moderately wide feet.These two-piece styles are sometimes hard to wear (thinking of the Dansko Sally or something). But I have nothing but great things to say about the Gentle Souls Opportunity.The toes are oddly pointy but I guess that adds to the quirky appeal.

I Loved the look of these online and knew that they would be soft as butter. Unfortunately, I had to return them. They fit but the sole extended so far past my foot that they looked really funny and I knew that I would not wear them.
