I am 5'2 and 120 pounds-usually I am a size 6 and this dress was too snug around the waist. If you are in between a size 4 and 6-definitely get the size 6. It is a beautiful dress, it was about 4 inches too long for me as well-you should be able to alter/shorten dress if necessary. Can't beat the price girls!
It's true that this dress would look best on a tight-bodied girl, but those of us with more curves than we want can still look good in this dress. The fabric is similar to a T-Shirt (thicker, more luxurious, but similar) and so you'll need to choose your undergarments carefully if you don't have a hard body. But the dress is really comfortable and dressy. I'm taking it with me on a cruise because it was jammed into a little bag to ship and there wasn't a single wrinkle!

Love this dress. I'm large-busted (38DDD) and size 14-18 depending on the manufacturer. I ordered both a 0X and 1X, and elected to keep the 0X even though both were fine (dreams of new year's weight loss...hahaha!). Fabric is high quality, and pieced together from top to bottom (as opposed to across the middle like a top and skirt) so it flows nicely. I would definitely but this again.
Think back to when you played dress up with all your mom's things... back to when you dabbled in her makeup and were swallowed up by her clothes... when rouge was over-applied and lipstick was ever-abundant. Those were the days when you longed to trade in your little girls dresses for women's evening gowns. You wanted to be a grown up and do the same grown up things your parents did.
Well, now you can put on your own makeup and pick out your own dresses. You have grown into a beautiful, determined woman. You have dreams and ambitions and a wardrobe to accompany them both. You have casual dresses for lunches with friends and walks to the store. You have work dresses for the office and little black dresses for a date or a night out with the ladies. And don't forget the your go-to cocktail dresses for everything in between.
