About Dr. Martens

Dr. Martens® boots, oxfords, and work shoes have been setting the worldwide standard for style, durability, and the rebellious spirit since 1960.

The classic 1460 is the iconic boot that started a cultural revolution still reverberating into today. Dr. Martens 1461 oxfords offers a more relaxed and casual look that still have the same tough leather and durable quality of the boot styles. These Dr. Martens shoes and boots are ready for everything, whether you’re in the thrashing it in the mosh pit, working in the city, or just setting the style standard at school.

The Dr. Martens Work footwear collection features men’s and women’s work boots that have the same rich leather construction but with the standard protection to keep you safe while you’re on the job.  The 2295 Rigger and 2296 Wellington boot styles have water-resistant leather uppers too keep you dry while working outside in the elements. The Ironbridge boot is a heavy-duty style ready for industrial work areas where the environment may not be safe, but your feet will be protected all day long.  All Dr. Martens work boots meet ASTM standards for safety toe protection, electrical hazards, and slip resistance.

Dr. Marten Kids collection has boots, shoes, and sandals with the same high quality leather, durable modern details, and eye-catching prints to match your favorite adults styles. This is my second pair. They are very comfortable and don't need much breaking in. I stand and walk a lot at work and these shoes are perfect. I just wish they came in other colors in addition to red and black!

Standard Doc Martin original style shoe. Bought these to wear with a white military uniform...much better quality than the standard military Bates shoes. Will probably use a shoe insert for added support.

Have to return for smaller size. Wear a 7.5 in shoes so got an 8. Even with thick sock my heel slips out. Hoping the 7 fits better

I bought my first pair of doc's in the '80's. I wore them for about 10 years. I also purchased a couple more pair in the mean time. The last tow pair I purchased are still in the boxes in my closet, I am still wearing a pair I purchased about 5 years ago. I feel like the ones I am wearing now are not as well made as the ones that were made in England, but after wearing them for 5 years, I shouldn't complain. They are great for work. I wear them everywhere! I think I'll be buried in them! I have three favorite shoe brands and my docs are number one!

These were the most uncomfortable and awkward feeling shoes I have ever worn in my 58 years on earth.

Design of the inner heel support at top cuts into skin. Great shoe...but will end up getting blisters when breaking in shoe.

These are not built like they used to be. I wear these exclusively to work in an office setting so they are not abused. The left sole has almost completely separated from the shoe in less than 18 months. Looks like I need to find another brand of shoes that can stand up to this strenuous environment.

Love these old school Oxfords. Comfort and fine tune fit are achieved only after a few weeks of wear.

I purchased these because I am very short and do not look good in boots because it shortens my legs even more but I love the style of chunky Dr. Martens boots. So these were perfect! I originally purchased these in a UK 6 (or US women's 8) because I usually wear an 7.5 US but it was WAY too big. I exchanged it for a UK 5 (or US women's 7) and it fit perfectly! It is initially stiff and needs breaking in but the leather is so nice and it's been comfortable thus far. LOVE IT!
