About Dr. Martens

Dr. Martens® boots, oxfords, and work shoes have been setting the worldwide standard for style, durability, and the rebellious spirit since 1960.

The classic 1460 is the iconic boot that started a cultural revolution still reverberating into today. Dr. Martens 1461 oxfords offers a more relaxed and casual look that still have the same tough leather and durable quality of the boot styles. These Dr. Martens shoes and boots are ready for everything, whether you’re in the thrashing it in the mosh pit, working in the city, or just setting the style standard at school.

The Dr. Martens Work footwear collection features men’s and women’s work boots that have the same rich leather construction but with the standard protection to keep you safe while you’re on the job.  The 2295 Rigger and 2296 Wellington boot styles have water-resistant leather uppers too keep you dry while working outside in the elements. The Ironbridge boot is a heavy-duty style ready for industrial work areas where the environment may not be safe, but your feet will be protected all day long.  All Dr. Martens work boots meet ASTM standards for safety toe protection, electrical hazards, and slip resistance.

Dr. Marten Kids collection has boots, shoes, and sandals with the same high quality leather, durable modern details, and eye-catching prints to match your favorite adults styles. Nice looking shoe, but the leather upper is so hard and the lip cut into my ankle. I sent them back since it would take a while to break them in.

Shoe seems to run a bit long. The tongue does come up a lot more than I expected. Extremely lightweight for a pair of Docs.

The soles on these are easily 20% smaller (narrower and shorter) than all of my other doc marten 1461's 3-eye gibsons of the same size. Made in Vietnam...really?

Dr. Martin is nothing like it used to be. The bottoms are glued to the shoe and no longer stiched as they were when I first started buying them. When they outsourced to Vietnam the quality went way down. After about 6 months of wear I have to use Gorilla Glue to glue the bottoms back on to keep from throwing away shoes with plenty of tread on them. I even tried to order direct from the Dr. Martin site in the UK but the same low quality shoes. I bought another pair since I do like the look but it is def time to find a new shoe to wear away from this brand.

Awesome, awesome shoes! Docs take a short while to break in, but it is so worth the work. A couple of weeks and they fit like a glove. Well-made. Stylish. Iconic. Perfect for undercover office punks. My only wish is that they came in half sizes. 11 is a hair's breadth too big, and 10 is too small.

They're my work shoes. I love'em!!!! The color is a perfect color that goes with everything.
