The color of the shoe is even looked better than the pictures on the website. Quality is great since it is a Martens shoe.
What can I say about these lovely ladies? I feel like I'm in high school again! But they didn't have these pretty in pink ones back then... First of all, the color is delightful and at the same time feels like a "basic" to have in my wardrobe. I get compliments all the time. People really respond to the color. They go well with all black and then denim and really don't clash. The leather inner is soooo soft- like buttah. I think they're very comfortable and I can have a lot of pain. I like the light color because it's like a having a sandal for the summer without exposing my toes and having dirty feet from walking in the city.... Now, size: I am a solid 10.5 but can wear a 10 wide and these 10's fit like a glove. If you want a more cusshion-y sole then I would buy the larger size and get the corresponding Dr. Martens sole insert. I did not do this, but I really should have.
These are great. Lightweight, good looking Oxford type shoe. Super comfortable, as always I really like the Doc's styling, sizing and fit.
I was so disappointed about these! I love the look but the size I usually am my foot was slipping out of. I went down a size and it was miserably tight. Oh well, I tried!
I love the way this shoe looks. I am pleased with the way it fits with one exception: it gave me small blisters on my achilles tendons. But that is not a deal breaker for me, I will wear bandaids with these shoes until the backs break in.
This a nice loafer. A bit heavy but that is to be expected from a Dr. Marten. I normally wear a 6.5 and I have a flat wide foot. I got this shoe in a 6 and after wearing it a few times it flips off my foot a bit. Otherwise, it is a cute and comfortable shoe.
I have been wearing Dr. Martens for decades, particularly this model in different finishes. Although they mostly look the same, they are not like they once were. Still made pretty well, but not with the same quality I was used to from UK made shoes.
What's there to say? This is the only shoe I have bought in the past 25 years. This pair is my eighteenth. I wear them most every day and when these wear out (in about 18 months) I'll buy another pair, just like them. The only other footwear I wear is Timberland workbooks; I'm on my ninth pair of those.
I have a 3-year old pair of "Dr. Martens Work: Hawk SD 4 Eye Shoe" that have been excellent for working outside: well-padded, tough, thick comfortable insole, largely waterproof, flexible, steel safety toe. These new 1925s are just as ugly with none of the good attributes. Thin hard insole, stiff, unpadded, cheap-feeling, just plain uncomfortable. Even stupider, there is a little tag stitched into the insole right where your heel goes, warning you not to rely on the steel toe for safety. OK, warn me, but not with stitching under my heel. I will give them some more time to see if they break in, but for now I dislike them.
I bought this for my husband's birthday. He loved it and found it very comfortable. He is very picky about that. The UK 9 fit him perfectly. He is a US 10. Hogarth color goes with a lot of clothes. This was a great purchase.
