First off the color is amazing really deep like a car finish. It wears really well, went on in one coat all the good stuff. Can't wait to try other colors.

This product covers well and goes on easily. The color is a lavender rose. I put a light pink color polish over it to soften it. All in all, this covers well but I don't think that I will buy this color again.

Love, love the color! Is it brown with purple and gold or purple with brown and gold? Who cares, it's perfect even on my old hands!

The knees up is a fabulous, foil-y red color. It honestly looks like it's lit from within. Perfect for Christmas, or if you're a true red fanatic. Formula is great, not at all streaky, almost a one-coat wonder. Highly, highly recommended. As with all nail polish, googling for swatch images of a shade before purchasing is always a good idea.

Knees Up is a true light red with subtle metallic gleam. Two coats and you have nails that will attract compliments. IMO, this shade of red will compliment any skin tone. Can be used as an accent color or layered. A subtle sexy red for all seasons. Thanks Zappos for keeping a limited edition shade in stock. Knees Up has returned as part of bL's winter collection. No minimum for free shipping is an incentive to buy here. Only inconvenience? Removing a sticky bar code from bottle before I could open it. :)

If you like dark colors, try the 'Perfect Prezzie'. It is gorgeous. I used it on my toes and it lasted six weeks without a single chip. Honestly! Of course, my nails grew out, but even after six weeks they were not unsightly, just in need of a pedicure. I recommend using the BL basecoat and shiny topcoat with 2 coats of polish. FYI: I do not like the matte topcoat. I tried it on one nail and it made the polish look dull and chalky.

I did not realize that some colors have the glitterlook, and the last 2 I ordered have exactly that which I do not like. I decided to keep them and maybe use them sometime, but I am not happy with this. The polish itself it fantastic because it stays on, even if you do dishes by hand for a whole week. Amazing!

It is a nice color, antique gold with olive tones, but it is not as pretty as the pictures! In real life it is a little weirder and not so flattering on olive skin. I think it would be a better toe polish. The staying power is not the best either, it chipped, so I had to carry the bottle in purse to touch up. All in all I did like it, just not love it as I thought I would.
Brands I'd also recommend: Deborah Lippmann for sure, and also Revlon ( NO animal testing done by any of these companies! # 1 criteria)

I love beautiful reds and 'Knees Up' is my latest BL shade to try. It is gorgeous and makes my toes look sexy. I have not been disappointed with a single shade of BL polish that I have purchased...the descriptions are that accurate. 'Tramp Stamp' will be my next one.
Brands I'd also recommend: Vince, Ella Moss, Think!, Naot, Botkier, Missoni Accessories

The color Toff is very pretty in person, but does not look like the color in the picture (at least on my monitor) at all. It is very purple on, almost like a mixture between eggplant and violet. Very pretty, just not what I was expecting

I love this brand. It looks like I had my nails professionally done! Knees up is the perfect red, which I'd been looking for forever! I also have British racing green, Fash Pack, and The Old Bill. I love them all. Yes, their retail is a little higher, but it is worth the price.

I read a review for the color, The Black Knight, in The (Rachel) Zoe Report and decided to buy it. I'm so glad I did. The color is gorgeous! The color has enough bling and shine that it's not overwhelming. After 2 coats (one coat is too light) it dries to a purple-black color, which is exactly what I had been looking for! I love the color so much. I'm considering getting another bottle! I was not familiar with Butter London until now. I think the quality of their nail polish is way better than OPI and other high-end nail polish brands. The color goes on as it appears in the bottle and is long lasting. I plan to wear the color year round! It's too bad that it's a limited color. So if you've been looking for a nice dark, shimmery polish, this it! Get it before it's gone!
