Bogs Reviews
Love these boots! Perfect for rain and snow! They are comfortable and sturdy. I feel that they are well made and will last me a long time.
They're honestly perfect. I get so many compliments on them, they keep my feet completely warm and dry, and they're so comfortable.

Love them, adorable, comfy even for someone with a heel spur and keep me and my kids jumping in the puddles.
Boots are great, and the fast service was outstanding. Bought the boots for my daughter. Her friend had purchased the same boots, different color and thought they ran a bit large. I ordered a 9 for my daughter who usually wears a 9.5. The boots had to be returned for a 10. The new pair of boots arrived before the first pair was shipped back. Whole process only took a couple of days. Thanks.
These boots are great. I have been wearing them at work for about six weeks. They are very comfortable. They keep my feet fairly warm to about 35 degrees. I bought some boot liners from gemplers and have been comfortable in temps below freezing. The only problem I had was the top of the boot wearing on my legs when I didn't have long socks or sweatpants on for protection. The boot liners also take of this issue, or you can just fold down the top of the boot. I have also owned a pair of muck steel toe boots and I prefer Bogs.
Wonderfully narrow for those of us with narrow feet. I usually wear 9.5N, ordered 9 and it fits fine. High vamp with stretchy fabric help to keep it you feet.It is not a glamorous shoe but fits the bill for walking the dog in the wet or traipsing out to the garden.
These boots are very convenient! I can easily slip them on and off. (Essential because I am usually holding a baby and have a four yr. old running around.) I live in the Northeast, so these are perfect for all seasons. As far as fit goes, I wear between a 9.5 and 10. I ordered the 10, and I am glad I did. The length is perfect. They are very wide in the toe area. It can feel a little sloppy, but it can be easily fixed with socks. Love them! P.S. I know a size 10 is big, but these boots make my feet look huge.
Sizing varies significantly from Bogs I purchased last year. I initially bought one size up (8) because my last pair of Bogs were so tight in my regular size that they made my feet numb until they finally broke in. The size 8 in this style were huge so I returned them for size 7 (my normal size). Those were too big so I returned them again for size 6. These fit well, not at all tight. The foot is rather wide on these as well.
I have been searching for a rain boot that keeps my extra-wide feet warm and dry. They would also need to fit over my large calves and be comfortable enough to walk long distances in (I walk at least 6 miles per day). They should be durable, and it would help if they looked nice. I live in rainy Southeast Alaska. Around here, people wear what's called southeast sneakers (Xtra Tuf brand rain boots). I've never worn them, though, because they are ugly and I doubt they would fit me. These boots are definitely pretty. They are popular enough here that I wouldn't be surprised if locals started calling them southeast high-heels. The material used for the upper part of the boot is soft and flexible. It is much more comfortable than the stiff material other boots are made of. This also makes it easier to get them over my large calves. I have to use a special technique: first fold the top down, then stick your foot in and tuck in your pants, then slowly roll the top back up. The shoe part is cushy enough for long distance walking. These boots keep my toes toasty even though I can't wear thick socks with them. My feet sweat in all the rain boots that I've tried, and these are no different. A boot dryer is important. After 2 months of wearing in early winter, a leak developed. I found a rip above my big toe where the decorative ridge is. The other side developed a leak in the heel. The tread is worn out. But keep in mind that I walk 6 miles per day, so they should last longer for normal people. My biggest hesitation in giving Bogs a try was that I couldn't find them in extra-wide widths. I eventually gave in and purchased a pair of the Tuscany style. My pinkie toe is a little squished, but not so much that I can't wear these boots. However, both the Lanai and May Flowers styles were too tight and had to be returned. They are perfect for wide feet. Medium width feet might need some thick socks.

I noticed the boots in the video are somewhat different then what's in the pictures. The tread is nothing like what's in the video. You can see in the photos how the tread really is. These feel great. They're rubber but not like rubber and a liner, they are space age materials. They are really warm. I got a size up and they are really snug and comfortable. They are easy to take on and off. The guy in vid says the thing in back is for snow shoes, I think its to push with your other foot to get them off. They are not hard to take off but you need to sit to do it. They are really tough and I have been taking the dog on walks in some ghastly weather conditions of snow, slush, mud and puddles. You can still slide on ice. They are good in the snow however. Maybe the grips in the video would be better. I like that gnarlieness more then the uniform tread on what you get. They should update the video. They are pure utility and not pretty but that's fine. I'd probably buy them again.
These boots are the best! Montana is a tough place for shoes, and these are perfect. Slogging through deep snow, crossing creeks...whatever. They're also very stable, so walking a long way is no problem.
I didn't realize (misread the description) that the lower portion of the boot is rubber. I thought it was all leather. So, they would be perfect for wet conditions, but just not what I was looking for. Also, I thought the heel portion felt a little large. I have a normal width foot. I returned them due to these issues.
A great boot for truly hideous weather. If you want to stay dry in a gully-washer or in disgustingly wet snow, this is the boot for you. And they really let my feet breathe pretty well considering the boot feet are absolutely waterproof. I probably would not wear these in temperatures above about 55 degrees F unless I anticipated wading in cold water. I normally wear a size 10. After reading other reviews I ordered a 10 and the boots fit fine with medium-weight socks. They are a little wide, but the width is needed in order to get them on and off, with no zipper etc. I found them quite comfortable right out of the box. The first day I wore them, I walked the 1.5 miles between my office and the train station. No rubs, pinches, or blisters. The boots are a bit clunky, they definitely do not make you feet look smaller or thinner. They are fairly heavy, so walking is slower than if wearing jogging shoes. I bought the black shiny to up the style factor a little, without making my non-dainty feet the center of attention.
I love how easy these are to get on and off, perfect to throw on at a moment's notice. And they are warm! I put my own inserts in the bottom as I felt theirs were a little flat but that is personal preference. I would recommend these to anyone who has to go out in the snow or rain.
These are great utility boots! They are waterproof (even wading into the water) and warm (insulated). I absolutely love them! Good fit, too.
I love this boot! It's amazingly comfortable, with good arch support and plenty of toe space.
Unbelievable shoes. Warm, comfy awesome. I bought mine one size too big on purpose to layer socks if needed, but you can wear them barefoot and freeze you feet into blocks of ice and you wouldn't get cold feet.

First impression out of the box, very impressed! I always get nervous ordering online without seeing an item in person, but the color is nice, more of a chocolate brown than a burgundy. I was worried that the stripe might be really bright, but it's not. I am normally a size 9.5. I ordered a 9 and it fits perfectly. The only thing that may be a problem is that the tops of the boots are very tight around the ankle. I don't think ordering up a size would have changed this and maybe it will not be as noticeable with socks. They look cute with jeans, I don't think they stand out too much. My husband doesn't love them, but that won't matter when I get to work in the morning with dry feet! I have been looking for something practical for slushy MN weather, and these are perfect because I can use them both in snow and in rain. I recommend these!
