Fantastic boots. I have trouble finding shoes that are comfortable, I walk a lot and have wide feet and wonky knees. These are probably the most comfortable boots I have ever worn- wide enough for my feet, roomy enough for heavy socks. Completely waterproof, at least for now. A great purchase for me.

These shoes are great looking and seem sturdy--I love how they are lightweight but have serious tread. The only break-in required was the "throat". It was a doozy of a break-in. My shins were bruised and hurt like heck after the first two wearings. I was afraid I'd have to send them back. However, I left a large, wide can of soup in each "throat" for two weeks and then made sure to wear with really thick socks. Now, yes, I want to sleep in them! Best walking shoes I've had--I walk about 5-8 miles per day, and I think I've finally found the shoes that are comfortable and durable enough for me.

Comfy. Look good. Maybe run a little bit bigger than advertised. The little toe cap is really functional and adds some nice chunkiness to the front of the boot. Note: these boots will squeak extremely loudly for quite a while after you get them if you walk on a smooth or polished/waxed floor. A little embarrassing. But great for walking around the vineyard and winery.

When they first arrived I was a disappointed because they were so stiff. Walking in them for more than a couple of hours gave me blisters. But I kept at it knowing that if they broken in they'd be all I wanted them to be. It took about 3 weeks, but I finally broke them in and they are now the perfect boot. It is light-weight yet still rugged, waterproof enough and super comfortable. I've worn them for miles and hours on urban walks and my feet never complain.

Very simply, these are great boots. Easy on and easy off and they keep your feet dry and warm. They are extremely comfortable, good arch support, and the toe guard protects the leather from wear and water. It is no wonder why they are so popular.
