Solid boots; great support. I might need a patch of moleskin for some chafing on my heel till I break them in properly. Otherwise, my feet feel happy in these boots. My feet are a tad larger than a traditional size 10, so the slightly larger sizing works great for my feet!

These boots are wonderful if you're on your feet all day. They were so comfortable right out of the box. I have high arches and they fit me very well.

Love Ariat's, I wear these boots with medium weight socks and they are very comfortable. I do a lot of training in the field with my dogs and they are comfortable all day. I wear a size 8 and they fit perfectly.

I love my Ariats. They were perfect from the first step: excellent fit, warm, dry, cozy, and comfortable. They will be my walking shoe for upcoming NYC trip. Zappos has been more than patient with my purchases and returns re finding the best shoe for me. I love these boots.

First, I absolutely love Zappos. These Ariat hikers are one of many pairs of shoes purchased from Zappos. The half size smaller fit perfectly with a medium thickness sock. I did not have to break them in; they were comfortable from the get-go. I would highly recommended Ariats to anyone. My husband has two pairs!

Love this boot. Was looking for a hard working boot to wear on a deer farm. Comfort is exceptional, tread is just right (doesn't pick up too much and cleans easily) and I have even worn them hiking.

I bought these because I needed a barn boot for warmer weather, but also because they are waterproof. I usually wear an 8.5 in most shoes, but bought these in an 8, since that is the Ariat size that usually fits me, and the 8 was perfect. Being waterproof, they are still pretty warm, but it sure beats wearing a rubber boot. And they are very, very comfortable! Great support and cushioning- I can stand in them all day. I would definitely recommend them, and Zappos is always awesome to order from! I received the boots the day after I ordered! And the shipping was free, can't beat that!

This is the 3rd pair of these boots I have bought. I use them for trail riding. They are so comfortable...help to keep your feet from hurting! I have Plantar Fasciitis & they are the best boots I recommend for this problem. I like the waterproof ones best of all!

My second pair, first pair lasted 4 years. Love the waterproofing! For me, boots ran large; I ordered half a size smaller than dress shoes and still am comfy wearing Smart Wool socks with the boots.

I love these boots. They are very comfortable with excellent support. I\'m not in a hurry to take them off as soon as I get in the house. I wear them everywhere. This is my second pair (different color). They feel about one half a size larger, but I\'ll be able to wear heavy socks with them this winter. I am a satisfied customer.

I love it! This is an incredible boot to use for working around the barn! Very comfortable, very sturdy, and this style is waterproof, on top of that! I couldn't find any regular cowboy boots that were comfortable around my ankles, so I ride in these also, and they're great for that, also! I highly recommend it!

This is my third pair of the Ariat Terrain. I live on 15 acres, have horses, and do a great deal of work on the property. These shoes are great, comfortable, and versatile. I not only use them to ride my horses, but around the barn, on the property for projects, etc. Worth the money, good fit, wear in all weather.

I usually wear size 8, bought these boots in 7.5 and they fit great with thick socks. Attractive boot, good arch support and insole, I usually get ball of foot pain in all types of footwear, but not a bit in these; comfortable from the moment I put them on and even after full day and evening of wearing them. They do scuff but you could put protective finish on if that bothers you. Very happy with this purchase and will definitely look for more Ariat products. Exceptional quality at a very reasonable price.
Brands I'd also recommend: Naot - good for people with ball of foot pain, some Clarks are also good

I have purchased many shoes over the past 3 years from Zappos, from mules, sandals, dress/casual. I love the large selection, the ability to order the shoe in 2 sizes dependent on style/cut, and return what does not fit at no charge. Free shipping both ways! What a company. I live over an hour 1/2 from the closest mall. So shopping Zappos is wonderful, it is not an all day planned event. I purchased these riding shoes as my current ones are over 8 years old and I desperately need new ones and there are no nearby tack shops to purchase from. The Horse catalogs charge shipping both ways which is not economical if shoes do not fit. So I was very happy that Zappos carried this particular brand of equestrian riding shoe. Thanks Zappos. I recommend you to all my friends, male and female, as my husband has purchased shoes from you as well!

Love these boots. I've always been a fan of Ariat, but these really did the trick. Wore them for a full weekend immediately after receiving them. The heel is a little larger than my last pair of Ariats, but a thicker pair of socks took care of the issue.

These boots were recommended by the guide for a backcountry horseback/hiking trip in the Tetons. A good call to order a half size smaller than normal. Took them on a two-hour trail ride last weekend, and they were great.
Brands I'd also recommend: Justin also makes a hiking/riding boot, but I haven\'t tried it.
