Ahnu

This is my second pair because Ahunus are so comfy and durable. Love this as a quick, casual slip-on!

These are lovely, comfortable sandals. They provide decent arch support and are plenty wide, so no rubbing from the straps but not loosey-goosey either. I originally ordered my usual size and found them to be slightly loose all over and slightly too long, so I went down half a size and the fit is perfect. I am very happy with these.

These shoes were a little too loose around and a little short in the toe. I would have returned it for a larger size had the strap been adjustable.

Love these shoes - very comfortable. Bought them for a trip and wore them walking all over San Francisco (without socks) with no problems at all. I think the color name "silver sage" is misleading. They're pretty much a medium gray and in some lighting, could be considered taupe. I've had trouble with fixed straps in the past being too tight across my arch - these are not tight at all.

I'm so happy with these shoes! I thought only sneakers could be comfortable. These are cute and cushy! I love them. I did order 1/2 size down as recommended.

I love these! I'm a tall woman at 5'8". They are so comfortable! I love them with jeans instead of flip flops. Make you feel a little more female! But at age 56 still enough support and wonderful comfort to dash out of the house in!

These are absolutely incredible shoes. They may be the most comfortable slip-on shoes I've ever worn. And cute! A nice combination of girly and sporty. Sizing recommendation: I typically wear a 7 in sandals and a 7.5 or 7.5W in shoes, but the 7 in these shoes fits me perfectly.

I had to send the 10 back for the 9.5, which I got in gray. They are really comfortable with good arch support, great for walking on pavement.

These are, without reservations, the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. From the moment I put them on they felt perfect. I am a teacher and am on my feet all day. It is a constant challenge to find shoes that don't make me want to scream within an hour of wearing them. I have a pair of ahnu Jackie flats that I have been wearing this year and loving and so as the weather warmed up, I thought I would give the sandals a try. They feel great and look great. I LOVE them!

Fantastic combination of comfort and style! The Ahnu Maia hugs your foot with super-soft leather straps and a cushy footbed that seem to mold around and provide a custom fit. I usually wear a 9.5 or 10, so based on previous reviews I ordered the 9.5. I can understand how this shoe might not fit everyone - and since the straps are not adjustable, it will be highly dependent on the shape of your foot. I found them to be a little long in the toe area, even though I have fairly long toes - but the arch and metatarsal support hit me in just the right places so I was very happy with the fit. The straps felt a little snug at first, but as soon as my feet got settled in and I took a few steps, it was like walking barefoot - only better! I got the dark charcoal color and I think it will go with pretty much everything. The sole is shocking pink, just for fun. The leather uppers are extremely soft, as are the microsuede fabric linings. This is a great transitional sandal for spring and fall, as it's not quite so "bare" as some, while still showing off a beautiful pedi and allowing my feet to breathe. This is my first pair of Ahnu shoes, and I will definitely look at more.

I cannot twirl fast enough! I am so delighted with these sandals. They are very comfortable and very stylish with jeans, long skirts, dress slacks - everything!! This never happens to be the case with me and any sort of shoes - I shop for a very long time. Now purchasing via internet and finding they fit too! Oh what joy!

These are comfortable and I love the way they look. I have been looking for a long time for shoes in this style that stayed on my feet and did not rub my heels. I wear a 9½ with one foot slightly larger and these fit and were forgiving enough to not be uncomfortable for the longer foot.

I'm the kind of person who loves the idea of flip-flops but won't actually wear them because I have bad toes. So, these intrigued me, especially because I have another style of Ahnus (Karma) which I really like. I normally wear a size nine, but in the Ahnu Karma I took an 8.5, so I decided to order both sizes in this style just to compare them side-by-side. After trying on both, the 8.5 was, like with the Karma, the clear winner. Part of it was because of length (the nine was a hair too long), but I think a large part of it was also because of the width: these shoes are WIDE-- not so much in the footbed, but in the toe box. This led for a floppy and awkward fit in the 9, and the little toe-piece (like you find in normal flip-flops) was very uncomfortable because my foot were jostling around so much. However, the 8.5 was a much better fit, and because my feet stayed in place, the toe-piece wasn't irritating at all. For reference, my feet are medium width to a tad narrow... if you have wide feet, you may be better off with your regular size. Overall, these are great little shoes. Arch support is fairly good, and the leather seems high quality. Also, I think these are SO much cuter actually on than in the pictures here. Overall I would recommend these but would say to size down a half size if you do not have wide feet.

This is a light weight shoe, but the cross straps would have bugged me because one was tighter than the other and had very little support.

I really love these shoes... they are super comfortable and I can wear them all day. I have plantar fasciitis and these have some decent arch support. I had some reservations buying these because of reviews that they slip off the feet, but I don't get that at all with these. I'm somewhere between a 10.5 and 11, and so I bought the 11s. There's plenty of room, but they don't fall off because of the straps that go on top of the foot. These were soft and flexible on the get-go, so no need to break them in.

Love these! They're cute and well made. The arch support is great, although the insole isn't quite as spongy as the other Ahnu shoes I have (I think my old ones are Benni and I had LOVED those insoles). I expected the insoles to be the same as the other shoes since they looked the same in the pics and video, but they're different. So I'm a little bit bummed to find the insoles feel a bit harder than I expected, but they're still very supportive and comfortable enough. My other Ahnu shoes last a good 2-3 years, so I'm sure these ones will last a long time too.

SO bummed I have to return these! They are adorable and well made. BUT the straps aren't adjustable or elasticized. My feet are very narrow so the straps hovered above my feet. Since the straps aren't adjustable, it would have worked for them to make them a bit tighter and then have them elasticized near the shoe so that it could give to different sized feet. My other Ahnu shoes are like this so I'm bummed these ones aren't. Oh well. The other issue I had was that my big toes hit the end of the shoes. I never really run into this though so it may just be that the lack of strap support allowed my foot to slide too far forward. Overall these shoes are adorable and if your foot happens to be just the right fit with the straps, you're good to go.

I read the reviews and ordered a 1/2 size down. I usually wear 8.5 to 9 and ordered a size 8. It was perfect! Amazing comfort. Would love in every color!

I really like these. They are very comfortable as are the two other Ahnu styles I bought. I had one small problem on the left sandal as the top strap that goes the length of the foot kept sliding towards the outside of my foot. I solved the problem with a drop of superglue between the top strap and the cross strap closest to my toes. The problem has not happened again. There are two adjustable velcro straps - one across the top of the foot, and one behind the heel. I only use the one behind the heel. I have had a lot of compliments on these sandals.

Finally! I have been searching for several years for shoes with a closed toe and heel I can wear in the summer without getting blisters. These are working perfectly for my commute on public transportation and my office job in Washington DC. I plan to buy them in more colors.
