Ahnu

HOORAY. I've been eyeballing these shoes forever. I picked up "last year's model" at an outlet shop, but sized down (7.5 from my normal 8) because I was planning on wearing them without socks. While they held up initially, after a LOT of walking on a trip to Philadelphia, it became clear they were too small, and I needed an 8. I was hesitant with these, since a lot of people said they run half a size too large, but when mine showed up they slipped on to my feet like they were made for me. There's a little bit of heel slippage, but I'm waiting it out, and am happy to add in a heel pad if needed; I usually need to do this with my right shoes, since my right foot is a bit smaller. Comfy, cushy, no break-in time needed at all. Heading to Japan in two weeks where these will get a major workout!

I loved the shoe, but...it was cute on and felt like it would be comfortable but it was too large, the heel was wider than I would have expected and my heel slid up and down, so I felt like it would be a blister waiting to happen. I really liked the look and feel of the shoe and I considered going down to a 7 but worried about it being too short. If it had fit, I think it would have been a great shoe. I have now ordered Keen's and hope they will fit better.

Like most other reviewers, I found myself wearing a full size smaller. I'm a true size 11, and rarely ever size down. For this shoe, a sales lady at a local shoe store helped me find the right size. I wear a size 10 in these sandals and could not be happier with them. They are cushy and feel supportive and form fitting all day. Also, they look great with anything from dresses to jeans. I love them! I feel like these are a great "comfort" option for those of us who still want to fit in with our peers (I'm a senior at UCLA).

These shoes are super-cute. Unfortunately, they are too long for my foot. I liked them all right, though, even with the slippage. Besides being cute, the shoe is also very breathable. I can't imagine they would do much to keep out any water if I were to get caught in a rainstorm, which wouldn't normally be an issue. As another reviewer pointed out, however, cardboard has been used in the footbed of this shoe as a part of its support system. I could not reason keeping them if they could be easily ruined, so I returned them.

Nice looking but because my right foot is a tad wider than my left I ordered 1/2 size larger and inserted a thin orthotic and now the shoe feels just right. I plan on wearing these on a big city vacation.

Very comfortable ballet-type flat. I am a normal size 7, and this shoe fit perfectly. It's just what I wanted, for when I don't wear sandals. I am on my feet all day (I'm a middle school librarian) and there really was no breaking-in period. Great shoe, and cute!

The arch on these shoes was quite prominent, like a lump under my foot. I've never had any issue with my arches being too high or low.

Now that I've got the right size figured out, I'm trying to decide between Lead and Silver Sage. Love the Lead (definitely blue, in case you're wondering) but the Silver Sage is more neutral. I'm not 100% wild about the look (to me reminiscent of my dad's slippers), they are everything else I want. Cushioned slip-on, clean styling, grippy sole, and a step up from sandals or sneakers. And good news for those with high, pressure-sensitive insteps -- the embossed band crosses below the high point of your instep. And on my foot, at least, it applies no pressure.

I was looking for a sandal that was comfortable, didn't flap when I walked (like flip flops), and that was still young and stylish. These sandals were perfect.

These are the best hiking boots ever made! I have owned all top quality brands and had to give them away or return them shortly after wearing them but AHnu I can wear 12 hours a day and never feel sore. They fit perfectly, give good support and feel like slippers! They are the best looking boots on the market. Please write your positive reviews so they never quit making these boots! These shoes are extremely comfortable and look great on my feet. I have plantar fasciitis which many shoes seem to make worse. But these were comfortable right out of the box; I wore them all day with no discomfort. I have bought 2 more pairs of Ahnu's in different styles and they are fantastic as well. I highly recommend them if you want a comfortable, cute shoe.

The best shoe Ive ever owned. Excellent arch support. I ordered a half size up based on reviews, but didnt need to. They are a little big, but just have to lace up really tight. There is a break in period, which will hopefully be 3-4 days! They looked cute in the picture, but even cuter on. Love these shoes!

I so wanted these to work. I am going on a trip to Japan, and needed some comfortable slip-on shoes. These are really cute. They are supportive. But, I do not like the feel of the lining on my feet. I only wore them in the house, but I could tell that after a day of real use, my feet would sweat, and the shoes would be smelly. I am returning them for that reason.

I am a pediatric social worker and I am on my feet all day long. These shoes are perfect for work. Very comfortable. Feel like I am wearing slippers. I get lots of compliments on them. Hope to get a pair in every color!

This is my second pair because Ahunus are so comfy and durable. Love this as a quick, casual slip-on!

These are lovely, comfortable sandals. They provide decent arch support and are plenty wide, so no rubbing from the straps but not loosey-goosey either. I originally ordered my usual size and found them to be slightly loose all over and slightly too long, so I went down half a size and the fit is perfect. I am very happy with these.

These shoes were a little too loose around and a little short in the toe. I would have returned it for a larger size had the strap been adjustable.

Love these shoes - very comfortable. Bought them for a trip and wore them walking all over San Francisco (without socks) with no problems at all. I think the color name "silver sage" is misleading. They're pretty much a medium gray and in some lighting, could be considered taupe. I've had trouble with fixed straps in the past being too tight across my arch - these are not tight at all.

I'm so happy with these shoes! I thought only sneakers could be comfortable. These are cute and cushy! I love them. I did order 1/2 size down as recommended.

I love these! I'm a tall woman at 5'8". They are so comfortable! I love them with jeans instead of flip flops. Make you feel a little more female! But at age 56 still enough support and wonderful comfort to dash out of the house in!
