I bought this for myself because, as another reviewer noted, these are hard to find for women. I've been looking all over for an all-cotton oversize shawl collar cardigan and could not find what I wanted in the UK, so took a chance on this one. Warm teal wouldn't have been my first colour choice, but it was on sale, so I got it, and glad I did as it is MUCH nicer in person than it is on screen - a lovely, subtle green marl. The quality is absolutely excellent. Sturdy and soft and very warm and comforting to pull around oneself when it's cold. Surpassed all my expectations, thank you.

This is the most comfortable piece of clothing hat I own. Why I waited so long to purchase it is a mystery to me. It is stylish, warm, and has character. What a great product and it fits perfectly.

I love this sweater. Its perfect for the colder weather. I live in Georgia so I hope LL Bean makes a lighter one for the spring and fall.

Warm. Comfy, truly a great sweater. Wish I'd had it over the weekend while it was so cold. 15 high on Saturday

Sweater was as advertised and described. Quite heavyweight, a perfect coverup for our cold Wisconsin seasons. Rich color. It does run just a bit large (I'm a Tall XL); if you prefer something sorta form fitting, order a size down. Overall excellent quality and value - as is the case with most LL Bean products.

Great sweater. I like the weight. Wear it around the house and for me 40 or more can wear instead of light jacket. I found it may be 1/2 large but works well and could probably shrink it some with time dryer if I wanted.

I bought this sweater for my husband. It is excellent quality . The cotton weight is perfect to keep him warm.and the style looks attractive.

After waiting for a backordered sweater, it arrived earlier than expected. However, it was mislabeled as size medium when it fit like a size XXL. The recipient returned it to a store but there were none in stock. Naturally he doesn't want another unless he can try it on.

Warm, roomy and heavyweight as advertised. I really wish it had one more button up top. This is my "old man" sweater I wear inside the drafty house during the brutal northern wi winter.

I ordered a tall for a tall person, but the pockets are way too small. Tall people have long hands as well. The sweater was nice and well made otherwise.
