Love them but shoelaces constantly get stuck with the small hooks, causing myself to trip over a couple of times.

I love these boots, they are very comfortable for an everyday walking boot and warm enough. Like another reviewer said, the top open lace hook will make you trip if you aren't careful. I just fully wiped on a hike face first, luckily caught myself but if you aren't expecting it, it will get you. The North Face should really have closed loops at the top. I'm going to try to close mine myself. Fair warning!!!

These boots are warm and comfortable. The only problem I had was the lace hooks on each boot on the inner side hooked my legs together and tripped me to my knees!

The product is good but the shoe lace tying part on the upper most end is not great, it interferes and entangles with the other shoe while walking and makes one fall on the street.

These boots are so cute and comfy. They are truly waterproof and keep your feet warm, however the hook around the top of one of the boots got caught on the other boot causing me to fall forward with my feet up in the air and my boots still hooked together. The day ended in the emergency room and a deep cut in my hand that need five stitches.

The shoe looks great and very comfortable but unfortunately not for me. My feet are broad and I read something which is broad in the front part of the shoe

I read other reviews about the top clasps getting caught on each other and I should have listened. It seems like a small thing but it really is dangerous.

Size was good, fit was good, comfortable, warm, waterproof, and cute. However, there is an official recall on these boots from The North Face due to a tripping hazard caused by the lace of one boot getting caught on the other boot. Prior to receiving the recall notice I had this exact thing happen to me. My legs were suddenly stuck together, and I fell face first onto the sidewalk like a felled tree in front of God and everybody. I was not seriously injured, only my pride :( You can get your money back from North Face if you care to.

While these boots are warm and comfortable, the hooks at the top catch and it makes you trip. I just wiped out because of this. I've chosen them with pliers and rendered them unusable. I read the other reviews and thought "it can't be that bad! North face makes great products". I was so wrong. All winter they were catching I kept closing them and they kept catching and reopening. I just fell and destroyed my knees! I HATE them.

Tripped in these boots because of the top hooks and fell so hard I had to go to the hospital and get stitches. Would love if north face paid my hospital bull

Bought these for my daughter and the first day she wore them the top lace hooks got snagged on each other, causing her to fall and ripping out the hooks. Bad design and dangerous to wear.

The hooks on the top of each of the boots connected together each other. I feel twice on one walk - first time not aware of the issue, second time, I was aware the boots latched together. I am bruised, and lucky to have not broken my arms or legs.

Within six days of wearing these boots, I fell on my face three times because of the lace hooks getting caught. Almost severely injured, not safe product.

Im injured now thanks to these boots. The hooks on the sides of the boots latched on together (or the laces grabbed on the hook I'm not sure) when I momentarily got my legs close together when I sort of paused walking to put on my gloves. And then all of a sudden it was like a cowboy lassoed my legs together and I went down so, so hard. Now my left hand is very sprained. My right hand and right knee is cut up and bruised. And I might have a little bruise on my right cheek. Please do not sell these anymore. It's so so dangerous.

Do not purchase these shoes because of the VERY POOR DESIGN- I fell so hard on concrete and now I'm injured. The hooks on the sides of the boots latched on together (or the laces grabbed on the hook I'm not sure) when I momentarily got my legs close together because I paused walking to put on my gloves. And then all of a sudden it was like a cowboy lassoed my legs together and I went down so, so hard. I can't believe this is on the market. This needs to be recalled asap to prevent other people from getting hurt! Now my left hand is very sprained. My right hand and right knee is cut up and bruised. And I might have a little bruise on my right cheek
