I love the grippy nubs on the bottom of these shoes that prevent you from slipping on rocks. I also appreciate the fact that the sides are waterproof, which keeps my toes from getting wet and keeps them cleaner. I preferred the ones with thicker soles, and I'm sad those are no longer available!

Purchased for rainy days to keep my feet dry. Haven't had any rainy days yet but they have the same great fit as my other Brooks & look good!

These Brooks like all my others were so comfortable. They were also very waterproof, unfortunately they fell apart after about 1.5 months. Im super disappointed. Hopefully they fix the issue because waterproof sneakers that I can walk in are a must have!!

Cutest Brooks trail running shoe but it was far too tight. I should have minded the reviews.

Why cant Brooks offer all their shoes in wide widths? Great shoe but too tight in M. I had read this in other reviews but tried them anyway. I suppose I could buy the mens and hope they fit but the color is off. Seriously, Brooks, why not make all your shoes in W, too?

Very tight and did not break in. I have bought Brooks Ghost and Adrenaline size 10 for many years, but these are terrible.

Actually, I haven't worn the Cascadia 18 GTX yet. I have 2 other Brooks shoes (new) that I am wearing. I love Brooks shoes. I wouldn't buy any other shoes. They are great and comfortable.

Was a little disappointed with these. I used to wear the Cascadia 16 and they were a much more solid shoe. This one is supposed to be waterproof but after walking through the smallest patch of wet grass, the water gets inside to my socks and my feet get wet. Also they are not as comfortable as the older model and leave my feet achy after a hike. I expected more paying $170 for these shoes.

These shoes provide a solid platform, firm, but with enough cushion to protect your knees. Both the tread and gore tex have been excellent in slushy, snowy and icy winter runs on gravel roads and trails. These are the best running shoes for my foot that I have found in a long time, there's ample room in the toe box but the rest of the shoe provides a snug performance fit.

I will admit I was hesitant at first, my older model of the Cascadia was pretty firm and not the most comfortable. Whatever was done on this design, Brooks nailed it. The shoe was comfortable, had just the right amount of cushion, held up to the trail terrain, and looks sharp. Not to mention, it is waterproof and easy to clean. I recommend this shoe for anyone that has hiking on their schedule.

I have worn Brooks for years and have loved them, but these are the most uncomfortable athletic shoes that I have every purchased from Brooks. They really hurt my feet!

Have worn Brooks for years because of knee issues and have been very satisfied. They were my go to running shoe. These are the first waterproof pair I have tried and am extremely disappointed. I am not sure why they should feel so different. I can only wear them for short time periods before they are uncomfortable and my knees bother me.

Delivered the performance I was hoping for. Handled 8k of steep rocky terrain as well as crossing creeks without a single drop of water coming through while hiking in Costa Rica. Gripping power was awesome going up and down steep terrain with loose rock. While the rest of me was drenched, my feet were completely dry.

First pair of brooks that I found extremely uncomfortable. Way too tight across the top of the foot.. I had bought two pairs. One for myself and one for my sister. She too said they were way too tight. Every other pair I bought were soft and comfortable. These are tight and very stiff. Im so disappointed and I paid almost $200 per pair

I am incredibly disappointed in these shoes. I am a loyal Brooks shopper and I have worn these for a week. The fabric is already torn and it rubs my toes in areas that Ive never had problems before with my Glycerins. I was traveling with these out of the country and needed the waterproof properties for long hikes. Would definitely not recommend! Ended up having to purchase different shoes while on the trip.

Originally bought them for increased traction during winter road runs, but they've also become my summer hiking shoe. More comfortable than hiking boots but just as rugged, they keep my feet dry through mud and river crossings. Great shoe.

Thiz is my first time dabbling in Brooks brand, and I must say I am quite impressed! They are sturdy, comfortable, and well made. I have wide feet (especially after having kiddos), so I need a generous toe box, and these have the perfect amount of room right where I need it, while also hugging all the right places. They are supportive where they should be and flex where they need to. Good amount of spring too. They hit slightly lower on the heel than my go to running shoe, so I wore a bandage there just in case they rubbed differently than I'm used to, but I don't think I needed it. While I've only gotten to take them on a proper trail twice thus far, which happens to be during the dry summer, they performed swimmingly, I can readily tell they have enough grip to handle even more difficult terrains during the wet Pacific Northwest seasons. I appreciate the extra protection the water resistent toe/side overlays are sure to provide. They are also surprisingly light for how rugged they are. Aesthetically, I love the design. Just the right amount of pink and yellow color pops coupled with a pleasing neutral shaded blue amd charcoal grey. I especially like the perfectly placed pink contrast stitching. Overall, I'd say they're a quality trail runner and a happy foot investment!

These water proof tennis shoes are absolutely a game changer. Where I live, we get a ton of rain, so these are well worth it for me to be able to continue to run during these times. These shoes fit true to size for me, and the laces are made to actually stay tied. The water proof material is very effective. The only improvement would be to somehow prevent water from entering around the ankle, as that can sometimes be an issue, however these are still a huge improvement. The design is nice, although I do wish there were more options, girlier options. Overall, a great, great product!

The Cascadia 18 GTX shoe initially seemed to require going half a size up, but after using them, they turned out to be true to size. Breaking them in was a bit challenging, causing tingling in my feet on day 1 after just 20 minutes. While there was discomfort in the heel, the shoe provided good support during climbs. It's suitable for hiking and trail running due to its practical design, including a durable Gore-tex mudguard toe cap and biomimetic traction design inspired by mountain goat hooves. The grip and security during hikes were impressive. However, it may not be the most comfortable for everyday wear or casual walking. As someone with a narrow, high-arched foot and a true size 8 in sports shoes, I have mixed feelings about the Cascadia 18 GTX and plan to test them further on different trails for a more comprehensive review. I appreciate the opportunity to test the Cascadia 18 GTX shoe at no cost.
