I've had this hoody for a few years. I've taken it to climb Denali and it was great! The jacket doesn't really soak up any moisture from light precip that you might experience in places like Denali NP or the Canadian Rockies.

This hoody has quickly become my go-to midlayer for both cragging and long, alpine adventures. It's incredibly lightweight and breathable, making it easy to layer over or under other pieces. The hood fits comfortably over a helmet and multiple layers, which is a big plus. I also love the colorit's stylish enough to wear around town when I'm not out in the mountains.

Not thick material, perfect for a hot weather. The overall quality is good, light color can get dirty pretty fast though if not careful.

Great for summer and winter, light weight, breathable, stretchy, abrasion resistant. I wear this jacket hiking, XC skiing, climbing and running! Just bought a second color

Writing this review so hopefully the Arcteryx team can see the consumer consensus. The Gamma SL has gotten substantially worse and is built with cheaper materials, while the price has increased. The fit is now too tight in the shoulders (I'm a swimmer/triathlete) to fit. The material is now thinner and less stuffy than my 2019/20 version. It has cheaper cuffs. The hood is less structured. And the DWR is less effective because of the thinner material. Please bring back the old design! There is nothing on the market now as good as the old model was.
