The arms were way too long and I ordered a petite. I hardly ever even have length issues with regular sizes, so the fact that I did with a petite size means something is off. When I pulled them up to my wrist, the arm material bunched up and made me look like a muscle builder.

I was looking for a warm lightweight coat that I could wear most days in winter in NJ. So far I've been wearing this coat everyday in very cold weather and feel warm and protected from the wind. The coat zips all the way up to face and when the hood is up you really cut the wind. i really love it!

I wanted to get another LL Bean jacket, but one not as heavy as my other ones. I live in the eastern part of North Carolina and I get hot easily. I'm 5'3 and ordered this in a large petite and it's perfect! The arms are the perfect length and love that it covers up my derrire when wearing leggings.

This is the Fall coat I have been searching for. It provides the perfect amount of warmth during those weeks/months between Summer and Winter when it is too cold to just throw on a hoodie but not cold enough for the big winter coat. Perfect for walking the dog. The fit is great and flattering. Love the color. I am 5'3" 158 lbs so I went with a petite Medium and it fits perfect. I would say it runs true to size, I am a Medium in pretty much everything.

This jacket fit me very well. It is lightweight, which I wanted. It's not bulky at all. I only wished it came in more colors instead of just two. I ordered the gunmetal gray. I ordered petite extra large. I'm 5'3, 150 pounds. Very pleased with purchase!

This coat fits me perfectly. It's lightweight very warm and comfortable. I bought this coat for a trip to New Hampshire. It's a petite size, you can't wake into a store anymore and fine petite sizes.

Perfect size, perfect fit. Very nice, not too warm, not too light.

Just a couple of design flaws. 1) Hand pockets snap close instead of a zipper closure. Afraid that the snap will rip out. 2) The guilting of the fabric is lacing. Would be nice if it were denser. Otherwise it is a great weight and length.

This is just what I wanted--a coat to wear before it gets really cold (when I wear my LLB Warmer Coat). The gunmetal gray is a nice neutral. I ordered my regular Petite Medium and the fit was right with enough give to the material to layer a sweater underneath. I generally prefer snaps to zippers (I'm lazy, and snaps don't break or malfunction) but the zipper gives a nice vertical line and is slimming. Pockets are adequate and not bulky and the hood is functional. Leaving off one star for the LL Bean logo on the chest. I almost did not purchase because of it.

This is not a winter coat, it is not warm enough, but ok for spring or fall. It does look nice on. Insulation is very thin.

This is light weight and looks nice on. It's missing adjustment for the hood. It falls forward blocking your view. I bought it as a coat for between summer and winter that's water resistant and blocks the wind, and it is perfect for that. It would be nice if it came in other solid colors. It only was offered in black and grey.

I figured the price and brand would ensure quality. That is not the case. No zipper on pockets, no inside pockets, flimsy more so than similar thin coats, it looks sloppy. Definitely way overpriced even on sale. Glad I returned it and found a used columbia coat for $30 that is much better quality.
