I absolutely love these shoes. I've worn them every day for 3 weeks on my morning run. They are very comfortable and grip the road as I'm running. They offer perfect arch support. My feet don't hurt after wearing them for extended runs. I highly recommend these shoes.

The sneakers are really comfortable and fit great, even from day 1. They provide a lot of support for walking and running. I've been using them a lot for the last week with no pain in my feet. I like the fun colors that add a little pop. I had never heard of this brand again but these will be a repeat buy!

These feel light as air and are very comfortable. They do run a half size small as I normally am an 8.5 in running shoes and would prefer a size 9 in these They look great on and offer a good amount of support for my outdoor trail runs. The material is almost like a structured mesh, which adds to the comfortability and how light it is. The rounded toe box is very flattering. Overall I'm obsessed with the fit (although runs slightly small) and love the colors.

I received these shoes for free in exchange for my review. However, I am extremely impressed with these and am looking at grabbing another pair to alternate! It's not a typical color I would choose for myself but i absolutely love them. These support my narrow foot but have a wide toe box still which I feel will hold up better over time than others I've had in the past. They have a great amount of cushion while also offering exceptional support while running. I don't feel like they're too stiff or too soft. I've already bragged about them to some fellow runners! Highly recommend.

Love that this shoe has a wide toe box and comfy cushioning. The arch support is good and not too high. The soles provide great traction and stability.

These shoes are great. I use them when I'm on my treadmill or going for walks around my neighborhood. They curve just right to my feet and they're super light weight. Gonna get a pair for my mom!

Very comfortable and wide enough for my wider feet. The material is different than other sneakers I own, but I like that they are easier to clean because there arent so fabricy. So far wearing them for walks has been very comfortable!

I'm living in Michigan right now and wanted some grippy/more water proof shoes for winter and these are perfect. I think the toe boxes are a little narrower than previous Altras I've owned, but the shoes are still great. I'm planning to use these for running a trail marathon, so they objectively are still very comfortable.

I am really liking these Altras. They've quickly become my go to for work and play. They are my first pair. Had to order a half-size up as this style was cramping my toes. But other than that, so far so good!

The shoe itself was comfortable but my toes were at the very end with no room to wiggle they felt nice with great cushion the width was fine but the tongue came up to high on my ankle.I usually wear and 5 and a half to a size 6 but a 6and a half I feel is to big so I'm returning them .
I'd also recommend:
the provision 6 were very comfortable but the 7's are made smaller

Too small. A friend bought them from me so I did not have to send them back. Having a shoe that is sized this inaccurately is aggravating, even though the reviews are there to identify the problem. I bought a different model and absolutely love my Altra Escalante 4's.

These shoes have actually been pretty comfortable to work out him. I feel very comfortable when walking along long distances. My only gripe is the color. And that's only because I'm more of a neutral fan or blacks but otherwise this is a pair of shoes I would definitely recommend to those whose feet hurt if they're on their feet all day, etc..

I've been wearing Altras for years. I follow every new release of Altras and I'm not exaggerating when I say that I've owned over 20 pairs and I've tried on every single model. The Altra Lone Peak is the only shoe that I will hike or trail run in. I've been wearing it since 2016 and no shoe compares for long days on the trail. That being said, I still need to find a pair of shoes for the pavement that I love just as much. The Torin Plush used to be my pavement shoe for running and walking. Since it is no longer offered, I am on the hunt for a road running shoe. The Outroad attracted me because it transitions from road to trail. I tried the Outroad in a local store this past spring. I was mostly indifferent to itbut it definitely ran small. When the current Alexi Pappas Outroad came out, I had to have itspeaking from a purely aesthetic and athletic endorsement point of view. When I opened the box, I hoped that it fit as good as it looked! It is a well designed shoesturdy, good arch support, comfortable tongue and heel, nice traction, and durable treads and upper. It's very breathable and lightweight. My ONLY complaint is the sizingit feels 1/2 size too short and it's too narrow. I normally wear an 8 or 8.5 in Altra, but I went up to a 9 in these (it's still very narrow, but plenty long). I've never owned a single running shoe in a 9. As for the width, without socks the width feels okay, but with socks, it's definitely too tight through the mid/forefoot. There is enough width and volume right at the toes, though. Just slim everywhere elsebut this is exactly what the shoe claims to beslim. I would give it 5 stars if it came in the original footshape (a.k.a. wide). I'm not sure if I'll keep these yet due to narrowness, but I sure want to on account of how perfectly styled it is!

I have been trying the women's Outroad 2 sneakers for about 5 of my workouts now. At first glance, the styling of this shoe is a little busy compared to what I normally wear, and the sole is very thick. When I put the shoes on I could immediately tell they were great quality and my back felt supported. The bottoms have great grip which is perfect for outdoor mixed terrain running. I ordered these in my normal sneaker size 8, but I believe I could benefit from a 7.5. The toe is my biggest complaint as mine is way too roomy. This sneaker has width options, and next time I will go with a more narrow fit. Overall, I would recommend these shoes to an outdoor runner, and tell a gym goer to skip them.

Had to send them back. Loved the colors and the look. Even went a size up. Just way too narrow. If you have a skinny foot they mat work for you. Unfortunately they did not come in wides.

Altra's had been recommended to me because of the wider toebox. I walk regularly and my toes are short. I went 1/2 size larger but my 2nd toe was hitting the end of the shoe. Anyone with normal longer toes would likely have an issue.

It's a comfortable show overall, however there are some issues that will prevent me from coming back to Altra. First of all, the shoes squeak. At first I thought it was the bottom, but it's the insole rubbing. Powder helps briefly. They should really fix this. Second, this shoe started breaking down within a month. The back of the shoe started tearing apart by the Achilles tendon/heel on the inside. Not a complete deal breaker, but with both issues and having had them with other Altras, I won't be back for more. They're too expensive of a shoe to have this happen.

I'm one of those folks reading reviews only AFTER having a problem. Oops. As some others have mentioned, one of these shoes squeaks. It's somewhere under the ball of my foot and there's no way I can find to make it stop. I can ignore it when I'm just walking the dog but it's too much to just wear around other people without being obnoxious. Now the bigger issue is the wear on the padding that has also been mentioned. Behind my Achilles the padding is worn to the rigid part of the shoe, and I paid the price this weekend. I only wear these to walk my dog 2.5 miles Saturday and Sunday5 miles a week. In less than 6 months, this issue developed and I won't be able to wear them with the cut I have now. As to the fit that many complain about, I can't go up a size because I got the women's 12 and that's it. It was a close fit but my toes were not rubbing and, wearing this size and having limited options, I'm used to making it work. I do have a very narrow foot, though, and had no problems with width, so I can see where others would probably find it tight. Bought these as my first pair on rec of my chiropractor for the zero drop. That has seemed to help tremendously with my back pain, so I hope I can make a different pair of Altras work.

My fourth Altra pair, I think this pair are the tightest. Material are too stiff. I wish the material used is consistent. Lone Peaks are great. Softer and wider. But still good pair for running.

I really love the idea of these, a road shoe that has trail capabilities (I run roads to my local trails), but this shoe really did not work for me. For context, I have a pretty flat, low profile foot, prefer a wide toe box and a narrower heel/ankle. I've tried a couple pairs of these, but I will stick to my Torins now.
Fit: The shoe seems to run small, my toes felt cramped in my usual size 6 compared to other Altras. I would recommend going a 1/2-full size up (I did not try this). My ankle bone was also hitting the side of the shoe and was very uncomfortable from the start. This could be a sizing issue but I don't think it would help me much to size up to get a better fit bc I have a smaller heel.
Feel: The shoes did not feel as stable on trails that are steep, rocky, rooty, and leafy, maybe due to the narrower shape in general. The tread seems helpful, but I am more concerned with the stability. Probably due to ill-fit, but my feet hurt during the whole run and also made my calves and arches cramp. Even running on road/gravel was not comfortable.

I never thought I would say this, but this Altra felt narrow! I have a wide toe box and Altras are my go too, but this style is a no go for me.
