Good fit, good material, good for an extra layer underneath but not very wind resistant.

I am very happy with my purchase! I purchased this in Black Heather, size small, and its fits great. The quality are everything that you expect from Arcteryx. The material is very soft and comfortable, and will suit my needs perfectly as something to toss on if it's a little chilly or when I want an underlayer to one of my Arcteryx jackets. The styling is nice, a bit more upscale than my Kyanite pullovers. The Black Heather color is unique (for me anyway) and goes with just about anything else I toss on. I read all the reviews about the hem curling up and I haven't had that happen to me. if it does, I'll do the ironing trick mentioned in one of the reviews.

Had a blast roaming around NYC all day in my 1/2 Covert zip-This thing's legit for dealing with the crazy weather swings. Super comfy and tough enough for city life. If you're out and about in the city a lot, you've gotta get one of these.

I bought this about a month ago and have decided to get another one. Only reason I am giving a 4 star is because the hem does roll up but that is really the only negative and is fixable (I used a idea that is in the reviews already). The material is much more thick than the kyanite which I liked because I feel like I can use this in a variety of locations without worrying about the material getting messed up. I've found this to be a great grab and go style fleece to wear as an outer layer on a slightly cold day.

Giving it a 4 only because it runs tight in the waist. Great quality and color, but not quite true to size. Sent it back.

As others mentioned, the hem rolls up after laundering it, which is annoying. Otherwise, the fleece is stylish and warm, and I generally love wearing it in the winter months. QUICK FIX FOR THE ROLLING HEM: I steam the bottom hem using my handheld steamer by holding it up against a flat, vertical surface (a wall) and pressing the steamer against the hem in a way where your hands/arms are out of the upward trajectory of the steam. It fixes the roll-up until the next time you wash it.

I've purchased Covert Zip Necks in the past and like them very much. I don't know if the sizing changed, but this one was far too short in the body and sleeves so I had to return. I don't know if it's a cost cutting move (less material) but it seems that even the jackets are shorter in the body length vs. what they used to be.

I own two of these, size M. One in black heather and the other in grey heather. The black one is fine but the grey one rolls up about 1-2 inches at the hem and there is nothing I have been able to do to resolve it. Plan to give to goodwill, but will try to return first. Will never buy any fleece from Arcteryx again. I believe the problem is that the hem binding is too short.

I've had mine for a year now and it is nice and warm, however, it does roll like others have mentioned which is annoying. They've known about this issue for a while now and nothing seems to have been done about it. Is that quality? It's the most expensive jumper on the market so you decide.

Great for around town and as a warm layer for a chilly hike. Great next to skin comfort with nice fleece material. I am a big fan of the boxcar colour with the contrast zip.

I have three of the new style and two from ~15yrs ago. The older ones have a more relaxed fit, and definitely dont roll. ALL of my new ones roll; however, I was able to find a solution. Albeit it a costly one. I had a seamstress add 1in of thick fabric on the under side just above the hem. They now dont roll and look great. Maybe Arcteryx can invest another $0.05 into their cost of goods for a similar solution.

I mean who doesnt love a 1/4 zip? I really didnt expect to be wearing this as much as I am. Its my go to pullover, with shorts, jeans, hiking, out to dinner. It just fits and feels great. My only 1 complaint if Inhad to come up with something is that the bottom tends to curl up a little. No big deal at all. I would recommend 10/10.

Beautiful and warm piece. Unfortunately the hem folds up 2-3 inches at the bottom, which makes the piece look ridiculously short. Works for layering, but what's the point if you can't wear the sweater out to dinner afterwards? Or to work in the city? To make matters worse, the zipper broke after a few wears. Arc'teryx made me pay for the shipping back, which was $41. $41 to fix a zipper on a sweater that is already barely wearable due to a hem that rolls up to make it a size smaller? Unbelievable given the price point. Uniqlo has better service. Regret paying $41 for return shipping to get this fixed, but hoping they can address the hem issue as well. If they can't address the hem, I'd like to exchange this for a piece of equal or lesser value. I own 30-40 pieces by this brand and have probably spend $10K on their gear over the years. Never had an issue like this so hope they can make it right - or they might lose a long term returning customer.
