Bought this product as I have so many other Arcteryx clothing and always been pleased. That is where is stops.
Went to Disney for a week, temperatures around 4 to 8 degrees. This jacket is virtually no use in these temperature's even with heavy duty base layer, long sleeved tee shirt and mid level fleece. My wife did say that she could see straight through the coat (it is light coloured) and it looks like no insulation has been inserted into the padding.
Even though we had light rain on 2 days (steady mist would be best described) I am not even certain about how water proof the coat is. The colour went from Rune to dark patches all over. Small circles have appeared on the shoulders where rain drops fell and I have had to wipe them off with a damp cloth

The jacket is of good quality and great for winter, but the zipper keeps getting jammed. I'm not sure if their technical design team has addressed this issue.

I wanted to love it but the zipper has a design flaw that makes it incredibly difficult to easily zip it up. I tried three different jackets (both the down and core loft) and each one had the same zipper issue that prevented me from zipping it up unless I had the exact right angle and spent a minute fiddling with it. I don't want to spend this much money and struggle with the zipper each time I put it on. Even the associates at the Arc'teryx store confirmed that I was doing it properly. It's too bad as it's a great jacket otherwise.

Perfect winter coat that I've been looking for. The fit is a bit large so you may want to size down if you do not want to be too bulky. I like the drophood which is more comfortable than stormhood with hoods down. Only downside is that I want a embroidered instead of heat transfer logo as I think the latter won't be super durable.

This jacket is great, it has everything you need to face cold temps. Fit is great but I chose a smaller size than I usually do as the fit is a bit oversized. I'm 179cm tall and 74kg and bought a S instead of M.

Both elegant and comfortable parka.Although it is quite difficult to choose the right size (it fits extremely loose). Great value. My new gold standard.

I'm 6ft Tall 76kg 43" Chest, bought size L, love this coat I'll probably buy another too in a different Colour but in size M, the large is oversize for me really , I should have returned for the Medium but didnt thinking it gives me room to layer up but never needed to. Highly recomended. Walk in all weather conditions daily, around 3,000 miles a year. Cant fault it except for sizing.

Bought the Ralle Parka back in the fall as a replacement for a Veilance insulated field jacket. (The Veilance line no longer offers a field jacket and the other jacket designs did not appeal to me.) I'm 5'6 and 142 lbs. The fit is oversize, so I sized down to an XS (I have the Therme in S). Jacket is light and blocks the wind and rain very well. Warm enough up to low single digits (celsius) with a sweater. The look of this jacket is just so so, I don't know why they discontinued the Camosun or the Randstandt. The Ralle Parka was the best choice for what was available.

Bought this for rain and for 7 degrees Celsius and warmer . I have to say it's extremely comfortable in those temperatures with just a t shirt but any colder and you will want to add layers. I live in Vancouver so this is perfect for many days during Winter / Spring / Fall.
Extremely comfortable lining, lightweight, nice fit, beast in the rain.
Cons: Gore Tex shell is a little loud and crinkly, not going to replace most down parkas for very cold weather

I purchased the jacket two months ago, and the "x" from the Gore-Tex logo has already come off. Additionally, the Arc'teryx Logo on the chest appears likely to fall off in the next few months. I primarily use this jacket in the city, and I am rather disappointed with its quality. I had anticipated a standard of quality comparable to cheaper competitors available in the market. Also, as this damage is considered "cosmetic," it does not fall under the limited warranty, which does not really make sense.

Well constructed, but just doesn't keep me warm unless I have multiple layers. Felt a bit misled by the Park City reviewer, I was quite chilly while wearing this with a cashmere sweater in 30F temps. Returning for something a bit more robust for daily casual wear that doesn't require a full blown layering system.

After weeks of comparing jackets I decided to pull the trigger on the Ralle Parka. I'm so glad that I did. I absolutely love how stylish and warm this jacket is. It is now my "go to" every day jacket this winter. I am 176 cm and weigh 66 kg. The size small fits perfect with enough room to have a layer underneath for harsher conditions.

Looks super stylish, crazily lightweight, and works as a barrier against the elements.

Great coat! Does exactly what it says on the tin and looks great doing it! I've bought Arc'teryx coats back to back for the last 5 years for the same reason.

I've worn this for one winter and it is amazing--warm and like armour in the rain. Love it. I wear a Medium and it's a tiny bit long in the sleeves.
