I am disappointed in the color. I bought these specifically because they were listed as navy and white. They are not navy, they are a lavender blue. I kept them because these are the model that helps support my hip and knee. I don't use them as a trail runner. I use them at work as a physical therapist. I don't need all the traction there, but so far, this is the model that prevents me form over supination and keeps me comfortable. I also use previous models as my yard shoes (hilly) and hiking shoes. As other reviewers say, they are narrow, but for me, they are perfect. Most Brooks shoes are too loose in the forefoot for me. If you have a narrower than medium sized foot, these will be perfect. If you have a wide foot, skip them. I would recommend them, but don't expect the navy shoes to be navy.

I have worn the cascadia for the past 15 years. I occasionally have skipped a model year but have a great deal of experience running in this shoe. The 17 is not for me. I was excited about the new traction system and the extra cushion but I think it makes the vertical inside of the shoe tighter. I cut my run short because I was at the loosest lacing I could do and still had deep red marks on the top of my inner foot where the shoe was too tight. I do use orthopedic inserts but these are the exact same ones i have used the past year in my 16s with no trouble. Returned the 17s and bought another pair of 16s.

I've had multiple pairs of Cascadias over the years. Some fit perfectly and we're comfortable right away and a couple broke in nicely after just a couple or wearings. The 17's pinch a bit in the toes it seems. Don't pay much attention to me though, I'm 75 and only use them for walks of a few miles and general daily use. They're fine. Maybe next years model will fit me better.

The most comfortable sneaker for wide feet and high arch. I work in the hospital so shock absorbency on the cement floor is unbelievable

I tried what the shoe finder stated I needed. I loved the color; white, grey and black camo. My feet hurt after wearing them for a period of about 12 hours straight. I returned them the next day. I, then, ordered a pair of Ghost 15. I love them, my feet don't hurt after a long day. I wearing them from the time I get up in the morning until I go to sleep.

I got these for my wife. She has always loved brooks and has many pairs of the cascadias. She loved these.

I love the Cascadia 17 Trail Shoes! Feel very supportive while walking on uneven terrain when hiking. My only critique is was not a fan of most of the color options except the lighter white/pink color which has stung to watch them get dirty! Lol

I bought these for trail runs and it is the first time I've worn Cascadia. I bought them in wide because wide shoes have been helping me lately with an issue where my foot goes numb during my run. I wore these for an ultra in December and they were amazing! The hard covering around the toe area protected my feet from all the rocks and roots during that race. Very comfortable and they look great.

Love the lightweight nature of this running show, and that it works well for road and trail runs. The shoe is a tiny bit narrow for my wide feet, but comfortable enough that I'm keeping the standard width.

This is the first pair of Brooks Cascadia 17 Trail running shoes. I got the black camo ones, and I really like the color. What I don't like (right now) is that there doesn't seem to be the same amount of padding in the shoes as my other Brooks Ghosts - so they are not as comfortable. I have worn them twice on trails for walking so I am hoping they will feel more comfortable as time goes on. Right now, my feet hurt after just 3 miles of walking. Others my not experience this - hopefully not.

Not as cushioned as I expected. Hits my medial malleolus and I’m afraid it would be very uncomfortable if I ran very far.

It was not a good fit though I cannot say it was too small or too large. I have plantar fasciitis which this shoe kind of aggravated.

Super bummed! I got the wides because I have the Glycerins GTS 20 in a wide and they fit nice but they have too much tilt in the shoe and push my to the outsides of my feet and cause a lot of pain. And are not meant for wet conditions, fell really bad wearing them on a walk on sidewalks after a rain. So I picked these out to have to wear for anything outside and or rain related. The wides were so tight across the top of my foot I would've hated to see how a regular fit. I was able to wear both in the glycerin GTS 20 just wanted the extra toe room. This shoe has none. So cramped inside. I just wore them from the living room to the kitchen and they were soo stiff and clunky as well. I read a lot of mixed reviews so I decided to try them myself. I should've listened to the reviews that were tight across the toe because they were telling the truth! I ended up finding Altras and they are amazing! Have a nice toe box and don fit sloppy. I also found with the glycerin GTS that my foot slid around too much in the shoe in a wide. I won't being buying anymore brooks until they come out with a better toe box in there shoe

These are very comfortable shoes and true to size. This is the third pair of this same style I have purchased because I like them so much! Very durable!

Wide toe box, great traction and light weight. Perfect for hiking or trail running. A little less medial arch support than the adrenalines but by far the best shoe I've worn hiking. Colors look good too. Much more attractive than a normal hiking shoe.

I love this trail shoe! Not only is it great looking ( I purchased the camo design) they're comfortable out of the box. So far I've only been on easy trails with them due to knee issues. I don't for see any issues on technical trails.

I wore them last weekend for an easy trail hike and a then a three mile trail run. They didn't feel too clunky for the hike and they had great traction on a moderate rocky and high incline run.

I prefer a trail running shoe because of the thicker tread to walk/hike my dog daily, he likes to go off road. Currently in Sedona and wore these hiking yesterday and they did not disappoint. My left knee is a bit weaker and I don't always trust footing but not with these, perfect traction and after a bit realized I could rely on the traction, very happy. My only negative about these shoes is that you need to offer more colors in Wide sizes, 1 color option is not cool. I typically need new shoes every 6 months and I like to rotate through colors to change things up

I had two pairs of cascadia, took a break and tried a few other trail shoes, but glad I circled back. These shoes are excellent, first time I put them on, the heel felt funny, but after the first run the shoes had settled and fit great. Looking forward to wearing them out!

Love these shoes! They fit me perfectly. I normally wear the Ghost & impulsively bought these since they were on sale. I love the wider toe box & excellent tread. I did an icy hike & hardly slipped.
