Really happy with my purchase but disappointed that I bought prior to the sale. Feel like I should return and repurchase the two pairs of Ghost I purchased to take advantage of this great discount. Feel like Brooks should honor the price and give customers who purchased within the 90 day Run Happy window a refund or coupon for discount on next purchase. I waited hoping there would be a sale as many of the other models had discounts but I dont recall Ghost ever being on sale.

I've been wearing and training in the Ghost series shoes for the last two winters, and just completed a half marathon and PR'd in these bad boys. Never a complaint, great cushioning, ample toe box, durable without too much weight.

Terrific shoe for winter. Though not insulated the Gore-Tex prevents the biting wind if youre also wearing a warm sock. Love that aspect. Also, obviously effective when its wet out.

I have been wearing ghosts for training for about 2 years and like how they feel on my feet and their durability. I got the GTX for northern USA winter running. I have found that the GTX provide same ghost feel with extra layer in the shoe for warmth, temp 20 F to 0F. Also feels good for sloppy runs of slush and rain/mud with cool Temps 40F and under. I usually wear my shoes for work in health care when they are no longer in my running rotation and look forward to the added GTX layer when things get messy.

These shoes were a replacement for another Ghost 15 GTX that was falling apart. Yesterday we had a solid downpour for 15 minutes and these were not waterproof at all. My socks, feet and inside of the shoe was all sopping wet. If youre going to say waterproof, it better be waterproof. Ill be calling customer care to see what they can do.

Recently got these for walking and bike commuting in Seattle rain/winter. They are pretty good at keeping your feet dry, but would benefit a lot by having a full gusset on the tongue. This is an issue with most shoes (vs boots), so for heavy rain days I think boots will have to remain the preferred option.
There is no wide option, and Brooks, and most companies, are not offering a wide option for their waterproof shoes. I would really really recommend that Brooks addresses this huge gap in their catalog of shoes. Luckily for me, my feet are not that wide, so I could get away by sizing up a half size. if you have wider feet then you might be out of luck.
I would also recommend adding waterproof options for some of the other shoes in the running/walking catalog as the Ghost is the only road GTX shoe. Lots of us use running shoes for walking and walk year round in the wet - I would love a Dyad GTX option as the Dyad (wide) is my go to walking shoe.
So far the Ghost GTX is filling the void, but just not perfectly.

You gave me two different sized shoe laces on a shoe that costs $180

This show is great looking. Fits snug but does what they say it will do. It is waterproof so does not ventilate like a normal ghost. Maybe a little stiffer than my regular ghost shoes. Honestly its the best dry shoe I have ever bought.

As a waterproof shoe it's fantastic, but the ball of the shoe is too thin. I am overcoming this with inserts at the moment.

I am a natural runner, fits great, looks great. The adhesive is visible which is not great I think I would have enjoyed more cushioning. But overall very good shoe

I have the ghost 14 and just bought the ghost 15. The 15 are more comfortable but the biggest error in the ghost 15 is the material. I feel the material is cheaper, especially around the heel/ankle area if the shoe. The material started pilling and getting fuzz balls on the interior heel area. Additionally, theres not enough cushion around the heel like the ghost 14. This is where the ghost 15 falls short. For $180, it fell short of expectations. Very disappointed.

I'll preface by saying I've wearing Ghost gtxes since v. 7. IMO the 15 is the best looking ghost gtx yet. It feels very similar to the 14, although in a foot-to-foot comparison the 15 has slightly less cushioning, most noticeable mid-sole and heel. Otherwise, sizing and fit almost identical. I'd rate the 14 overall higher than the 15 due to the cushioning. The gtx does seem to work, unlike the 13s I had, which were worthless in the wet.

Like the shoe, but it's too big. The Ghost 14 size 13 was too small. Perhaps the Ghost 14 size 13 would fit better.

Love the look, color and feel. I have the Blue/Peacoat/Orange, but the soles wear way too guick. I may have 20 miles on them.
If I compare them with my glycerine 20 stealth fits that 60 miles in them, those show almost zero wear and are slightly more comfortable.
This is the second pair of Ghosts I have had and the last pair wore quickly as well. For a 170 dollars they really should wear better.

Felt narrow--but i like the shoes--except the mesh wears out on big toe area after a few months wear! What is it with all these mesh shoes? I would like a walking shoe that is wider and waterproof--no mesh! I walk 4-5miles everyday in the city!

It is a bit narrow because of the waterproofing (as compared to a regular Ghost 15) so order 1/2 size up. Main issue is with 2 pairs, the toe assembly (where the top of the sole is glued to the shoe) just comes apart in pieces. My regular Ghost 15 pair does not have this issue

The Ghost GTX tennis shoes are a little heavier than the original, I feel less soft. Yes, I admit that the waterproof protection is good, perhaps that takes away from the comfort.

I've had these for a few weeks, and it's taking a little bit to get used to them. I have several Ghost shoes, and I'm a big fan, but these seem to be made of a slightly harder material.

These fit great, very comfy. I like how they look. But I cannot keep the laces tied! This is the first pair of shoes I’ve ever had this problem with, and it’s gotta be the type of laces. I can’t go more than 30 mins of walking without them coming untied. Crazy huh? I knocked my rating 2 stars because of this.

The shoe fits well and they are waterproof, but the arches run a little high and my feet run a little flat. Sadly, I had to return them.
