The perfect green... not too light and not too dark.

Hubby wears this hat working in the yard instead of his usual ballcap. This style does a good job of covering his ears from too much sun. He's happy with it.

Looks good, fits great. Brim isn't too big or too small. Great for yard work, beach, hiking.....blue color I purchased is perfect especially if you don't like khaki or military themed bucket hats.

I have to stay out of the sun for skin cancer reasons and was glad to find this hat made of sun protection fabric. It would be nice if the hat had a chin strap to hold it on better when it is windy. The navy blue is a good color.

I love the hat's look and feel. Its color and styling suit me much better than those of other lightweight hats I've tried, and the sun protection is a noticeable. I ordered the medium, which is almost too large for me. Those of you bothered by a hat's blowing off in a strong breeze might want to consider one with a drawstring.

I have a small head and have problems finding hats that fit without falling over my eyes and look great. This one ticks all the boxes (and happens to be my favorite color). Looking at the photo I was afraid it would go down over my eyes, but it doesn't. It is attractive wearing it as shown or turning up the back. I also love that it is washable.

The bucket hat is what I need to work in the yard and I really like the hat. I ordered medium going by the size chart but the hat came with an inside circumference of 23". I ordered the small and it fits well.

I purchased this hat in the navy and size small. I wanted a different style hat vs a baseball hat to walk the dog and more coverage. This hat covers not only the front of my face, but also the sides of my face and back of my neck. It is made well and light weight. The only complaint I have is that the brim is a little "wavy" which I am guessing was caused during the shipping process. I hope it straightens out with the heat, sun, humidity and time.

I plan to use this hat at baseball games to keep the sun from burning my face, head and the back of my neck. It's a nice neutral color too.

This is a great little hat to wear when gardening. I bought it because it's identical to the hat worn by the lead character in the TV series "Vera".....a middle-aged woman detective in northeast England.

I love this hat! Great for dog walks on rainy my days! I think this will also be ideal for gardening, as it has UPF protection. I ordered a medium, and it is very comfy.

Great hat for blocking the sun. Love the color. Wish it had a chin strap and perhaps an adjustable circumference.

Bought this hat with the decorative band last year. Did not get to wear it until this summer of 2025. I have thinning hair and purchased the specifically for LL Bean's UV promoted protection. Played corn hole with some old college friends recently and wore the hat. We played in a grassy area that was unshaded, so in direct sun.The hat protected my head from being sunburned, however, my spouse noticed that my forehead and scalp had gotten some color. So the net is that if you are in direct sunlight for an extended period, the hat does not completely protect from UV rays.

After justbtheb3rd time wearing it, my wife noticed a little tear on the sides. We toughtnit ripped somehow, but it was actually the thread coming off. Bean products are usually very good quality so I am not sure what happened there.

Too small for one it was intended. I'm keeping for myself, it is perfect, but I wish it would fit the person I ordered it for. Tag says it is made in Vietnam... in my personal experience clothes that made in Asia usually runs smaller than it is marked..

It's a lightweight hat that I thought was for rain. I didn't have a chance to try it in rain yet but it's kind of loose (ordered M and L) and it doesn't fit low enough on the head to not blow off. I used it on a trip for sun protection and often took it off in breezy conditions. It's also unisex that I didn't realize. Sonot sure I'll use it much.

Seems like a nice hat but ordered a small and that was too loose with no way to tighten the headband and also the crown seems to be too shallow causing it to sit high on the head so that the wind blows it off.
