Great coat for an 8 year old - with 3 options to take him through all seasons

I'm a long time fan of LLBEAN winter outerwear for kids. It wears like iron and they outgrow it long before they wear it out. I like the fact it's 3 jackets in 1! Rain coat, fleece and top performance ski jacket

Oh this coat is so "comfy-cozy" per my first grader!! 3-in-1 coats are just the best for Fall/Winter/Spring! Fits well, as I sized up so he could wear for two years! Slightly large on him due to size up, so I estimate true to size :)

The fleece liner on this jacket is incredibly warm and fuzzy on the outside. The outer shell is more durable than a typical raincoat. This is a great ski jacket.

Amazing jacket! I love that my daughter is able to unzip the jacket and just wear the fuzzy jack or rain jacket or wear the two pieces together when it's really cold!

My daughter in law loves this jacket for my grandson. He wears it all the time because of its versatility in various temps and weather. Been wearing it for two years and just bought this one in bigger size. Will get passed down to his brother and then his cousin.

I have bought three of these over the years for my son (5, 6 next month). They wear well and last!. They have made it to his little cousins and look like new! This year I had original purchased another style to try out but it wasn't nearly as durable. I ended up returning it for this style. My son is all boy and very hard on his clothes. I will continue to buy this style for years to come.

Warm, plush, a sensory kids dream coat. My son is on the spectrum and thrives on soft materials. The inner lining is so soft. He loves wearing this. The outer shell has been updated since the last tri climate jacket we had was not water proof. This outer shell repels water. We live near Lake Erie with frigid temps. No complaints about him being cold.

Purchased two of these jackets for my GREAT Nephews, age 3 and 5! The fit is good, and they look great in them. Same jacket they wore before, just growing in their size. Highly recommend for the versatile of wearing just the inner shell or both. Bring on the snow!

Excellent jacket with zip in/out lining. Not too heavy

Great 3 in 1 jacket. Grabbed a 10-12 for my 10YO. A little big but will work. Got the girl's version for his little sister. Love to have them coordinate.

Typical of LL Bean products, quality is uncompromised. The jacket is versatile and offers much. A size 10 would have been a tad tight if he had worn a sweatshirt or sweater with the jacket. Size 12 is a bit long and large, at this time. Hopefully, the fit will be just right next year. Right now, my little grandson is between sizes.
