Simply the best trail shoe I have ever run in with responsive cushioning and impressive stability. I can get 400 miles in these shoes easily.

The wrapping is very good, and its ultra-lightweight exceeded my expectations. The anti-slip design of the shoe sole is very good. I hope I can wear it for a long time.

I expected a comfortable shoe and got it! Nice job! It responds on the trails better than I expected too.

I rarely have to size up but in this case they run a little short, so 1/2 size up was just right. Shoe is great on road and trail. Soft but also responsive. Can feel the ground just enough. Very stable despite high stack height. Doesn't feel high. I'm enjoying this shoe. I'm 3 pairs in, in a month. Feels lightweight for what it is too.

I've had these for a month or so and have done several mid length trail runs in them. Out of the box they hurt my big toe after about 5 miles. I would prefer a bigger toe box. I loosened them up and it relieved the issue somewhat but this allowed the tongue of the shoe to slide to the side due to it not being gusseted. I prefer the quick lace system instead of the ordinary laces. Overall the shoes are light, decent cushioning and get decent grip. A couple of minor changes and I would buy them again.

Really liked the plushness of these shoes. The toe box runs regular size and I had issues only on one of my toes rubbing. They handled a moderate trail well and were very pleasant on asphalt as well.

Salomon should take in count than exist people with wide feets, like you have for 3D model and Speedcross a wide option also you should made an option wide for ultra distances

I have an Altra-shaped foot but I need a sneaker with drop, so I tried these. Surprisingly, these are wide enough for my feet. They are very comfy and soft, have a great traction on trails, and fit well. However, they do not breathe well at all. My feet were pretty soaked with sweat. When I wear my Brooks or Altras on the same trail and same temperature outside, my feet do not get as wet since they have better breathability. Also... the squeak! Like lots of other reviews have mentioned, my right sneaker SQUEAKS! I even took a video of it as evidence. The pic I attached is from the video. I've never had a sneaker that squeaked in my entire life - not sure how Salomon managed to accomplish this! I may return them - I cannot listen to the squeak for miles and miles on end.

I wanted so badly to love this shoe. I'm a big fan of the Glide but found myself wanting more cushion, so when this was announced? Sign me up. And the initial few runs felt great. My third run in them was during a 12 hour race, and they felt smooth on the grassy, wooded trails - the perfect terrain for these shoes. The grip on them isn't great in mud, but frankly that's to be expected. Fast forward to a few weeks (and maybe a handful of additional runs later) and the right shoe squeaks. With every step. Step. Squeak. Step. Squeak. And it's not just me. Do a search for "squeak" and this model, and you'll find numerous reviews saying the same thing. The shoe develops a squeaking sound. It doesn't seem to be happening to everyone (or they did the reviews during the honeymoon period) but it's happening often enough that it's clearly an issue. Other than that, I wish the shoe had Quicklace (and the laces that come with the shoe are excessively long) and more padding in the tongue.

I really like these shoes. The fit is good and they are very comfortable. But there's a big problem......the left heel squeaks big time. It doesn't go away. I could have returned them.....but easier to just give them to GoodWill. Please test your products or people won't trust them.

If you are a Salomon fan, but have been waiting on a truly max cushion option, this is it! It is a lot of shoe, but the fit and lock down are great, resulting in the shoe feeling much lighter when on foot. Hit 22 technical miles right out of the box and not a single issue. Loving this thing!

Had the squeak to begin with which actually helped keep me awake during a 24 hour run. really comfy, good fit (not as narrow as sense ride) and very stable for the stack height. My olny disappointment which means i wont buy this again is that some of the lugs have worn down in the stangest of places after just 250 miles.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)

The two most common commentsi get are “what model Hoka is that?” Or “Nice Hokas!” So there’s that. As for performance, the mid-sole stack for me is almost too high for the technical rocky trails here in Arizona, they were confidence inspiring on downhills and switchbacks. The shoe is very comfortable though and I could see these being great for long mileage days/races on loamy or gravel surfaces. Honestly it’s just another comfy over-cushioned shoe in a sea of comfy over-cushioned shoes. No buyers regret, but no wow factor either.
