At 84, anything to do with feet is a challenge. My previous slippers (20 + years old) were moccasin style, very comfortable, still wearable but you needed to fix the back of the slipper each time you put them on. Found that on night-time runs to the bathroom I treated them as a slide, so I spent a few months evaluating various slide configurations before picking these. Made the right choice! Very comfortable; easy on/off; stay on the feet! and can be worn across the street to the mailbox as long as it's not snowing or raining. Biggest problem? Find I'm wearing them all day, every day when I'm not going anywhere. Can't speak to longevity as they are almost brand new but I trust Bean products.

Not quite the slip on I wear to the gas station at 5 in the morning and look a little odder than those with shorts, but look great in jeans, added warmth and easy on or off. The back is a little different, you can slip it over or step on it with your heel. Heel will move. But I like them. At 50% they are a great find. Would have been hesitant at full price for a slipper.

On sale for less than half price, for lounging around the house.

im a 10, ordered an 11 which fits great. I wear this everyday in the winter even some trips outside.

These shoes have such a comforable foot bed while other shoes make my feet hurt. They are not made for uneven surfaces as my dog drags me everywhere and these have no side to side support. A lot has been made about the narrowness of these, and they seemed a bit tight a first, but loosened up
