I bought this in the wide option and dark blue color. Wide options should always be offered in dark colors so they don't look too wide when wearing them. Women's shoes too! Thank you.

I am a Physical Therapist and I use it to wear in clinic daily. Love the feel and fit for my foot. Very comfortable. I wish there was an all black or all black and white color so I could buy another.

After 2 pairs of LP5 and 2 pairs of LP6, I'm really happy to see the new grip on my 2 pairs of LP7, more aggressive! After 900km on the fisrt one, I can say it's the most durable shoes I wear. Can't wait to try the LP8!!!

I love them. Salesman recommended 1/2 size bigger than I would’ve normally gotten and he was a way more experienced runner than I. It was the right decision.

This shoe delivers performance on the trails with style. The EGO foam provides a comfortable, yet supportive ride. The grip of the outsole will not have you missing Vibram. A must have in your collection.

Looking to transition to a barefoot style shoe and the Altras are great. They have a wide toe box and zero drop and a bit more cushioning than a true barefoot shoe. No break-in period needed. Very comfortable from the start. Sometimes wear 9.5/10 in other shoes. The 9.5 in these were too small - 10 fits perfectly.

I have Taylor's bunions ("little toes," i.e. bilateral, 5th metat.), so Altra Shoes immediately caught my attention when I saw the wide toe box 11 years ago. The zero drop works well with a rapid, flat, light stride. I live on the edge of town so I use Lone Pk 7s in a combination of trail and road running. I've been running for 50 years, and for the past 11 years wearing Altra shoes for everything but track work. I love Altra shoes.

I have two pairs of this shoe and the Spartan trifecta weekend in Central Florida in them. Love the shoes and the wide toe box. Perfect for the trails and OCR.

Absolutely my most comfortable walking shoe ever. I had the same style in 2019 (but water resistant) and couldn't find a replacement in 2021 because the then-current edition was too narrow. I am delighted that the "original" width is back. I recently bought both the standard and water-resistant styles and both are equally comfortable. They don't last forever, but great for long walking trips (e.g. the Camino in Spain and Portugal).

I've been running in the Timps since the Timp 1. Been wanting to try the Lone Peak but was worried it may not be cushioned enough. So far it's been great! I don't notice the difference in cushion and the more streamlined design feels fast.

I thoroughly wore out my Lone Peak 6 shoes and was excited to get the new version. I have very wide feet and wear 11.5 Men US size for all my shoes. The 11.5 Wide for the Lone Peak 7 is more like a 12+. I returned them and ordered size 11, which fit perfectly and still has some room for my toes. My recommendation is to order a half-size smaller than normal or order your normal size and the half-size and return whichever one doesn't fit best.

Just returned from a 3 week trip that spanned from Pennsylvania > Seattle > Los Angeles >Sydney > Tokyo > Chicago. I wore the Lone Peak 7's daily and logged an average of 9 miles a day walking in them with no complaints. They handled the wet and slippery terrain in Seattle, the dry heat in Sydney and the Winter in Tokyo with ease. I was able to venture off the beaten path and return to the pavement and tackle the subways without missing a beat. These shoes are super light, they fit well and the toebox shape allowed my feet to breathe and my toes to spread, especially as the miles racked up. All in all a great shoe and they held up superbly and are still being worn daily.

So I am not a major runner, and honestly do most trail walking with my shoes. They are light, stable, incredibly comfortable, and sturdy on dirt trail, or paved surface.

I've put about 300 miles on these, roughly 50/50 between hiking and running, and they're holding up really well. It's no secret that Altras can be hit or miss in the durability department (looking at you, Timp 4) but these are one of the good models in my experience/opinion. The fit is perfect for me, and TBH I'm confused by others saying they're different from the typical Altra fit.

This fit correctly, meaning, I wear a size 15 in most shoes, from Vans to dress shoes and more. The Torins in 15 were at least a half-size small. The LPs seems to stay true to size. Beyond that, these have great traction, breathe well and dry quickly, have an actual wide-toe box, and have held up admirably. I'm a big boy at 235ish lbs and have used these 80% dirt/hike/walk, 20% street and at 339 miles in, there is no delimitation of the upper or lower, however, the nubs on the sole are almost gone in key spots, as expected. The drawbacks, the cushioning is as advertised, this is not the most cushion offered. Wish is fine for me, as I mainly hike and walk in these. I did a few trail runs and the cushion wasn't enough for me. I could feel all the rocks pushing through. Ouch! I already bought another pair of the LP 7s! Please Altra, don't ruin it! These are awesome!

These are great for wider feet, but I always have to add high arch support insoles. Other than that, these fit well.

The sizing on this and all the Altra footwear I have had (4 pairs so far) are true to size and wear really well. The space for my toes is excellent and the I usually get around 400 plus miles of walking out of each pair. (my knees don't allow running any more)

These have been my primary running and sometimes hiking shoe with 170mi so far. The ride is firm, but not harsh. I love the big toe box, though I find i have to be especially locked down on incline.

I finished my through hike of the PCT this year using a variety of Altra shoes. I used Lone Peaks for the final 500 mile stretch. Its been a few months since of everyday use and I they're still great!
