Back in the store at long last! Perfect for travel, smart enough for work, and the collar & long sleeves give me the sun protection I need for outdoors. Not been able to find any comparable product on the market. Doesn't seem to age either, unlike my Gamma pants (pocket seams!) or my Brize pack. Even the time I cycled under a trailing rose (Melange Lucent Heather Medium) only resulted in a very small rip, which hasn't grown at all since then. Only clear change now (March 2025) is bird logo on upper left arm. Fabric might just be slightly thinner than previously, and some packaging creases still visible after first wash. Canvas II colour seems identical to the Canvas one I bought in June 2022. Chest pocket: My very first shirt had a flap, but I far prefer the zipper. Form has to follow function, and especially when travelling I can't afford the distraction of checking that what I put in the pocket stays there. And for city use I think the zipper looks better, especially when pocket not in use.

I bought a different coIored shirt last year, I liked it so much that I bought another shirt this year. Shirt is very light in weight which is great for hot, humid weather. Front zippered pocket is great feature to have on the shirt. Both shirts I had to get a Large but had to take both to a tailor in order to get tapered in the body. I wish the shirt had hidden buttons for the collar - maybe next version of shirt will have it.

I now have 4 long sleeve and have had at least 8 short sleeve shirts. I wear them all the time, work, home, travel. Very comfortable, wash and wear.

Great Shirt with a nice normal to slim fit, it is not a fat fit shirt! This is a great shirt. I love the material, the snap buttons, the concealed placket, and the zippered chest pocket. It's a very clean, very modern look and people often say that it looks wounderful. The sleeves are perfectly long. I have a L and is 190cm 90kg.

Good fit, without being flashy. But I'm not sure if it will last early days yet. Definitely don't like the zippered front pocket.

The old version deserves 6 stars. This new style just doesn't keep up. Feels less quality as well. Older fit was better. I am a massive fan of Arcteryx. This shirt WAS a masterpiece. Bring back the old style please. I will buy it in every color you have.

The old style is far superior but they're getting tired now - I need to replace them with good quality - can you go back to the old design and quality? Ideally with an extended colour range and I'll buy 10 of them! Please email me if you do!

I'm still waiting for the zip pocket to be removed. Why aren't Arc' listening to customers as the majority prefer the original style shirt. Until the zip is gone I won't be buying one of these products again

I have quite a few of the old version and a couple of the new version (zipper). New one is worse in several ways: - chest too tight if you're athletic which is what I thought Arc'teryx was supposed to be catering to - plastic snaps are less durable than old metal snaps I've broken one taking the shirt off! - Placket is narrower and material is thinner, so the snaps show in an unflattering way - obvious cost cutting old ones had some subtle contrast piping on the inside collar, better stitching on the seams, and slightly thicker material that looked better. Glad my old ones are still in good shape, and I wouldn't be surprised if the old ones last longer than the new ones.

Great material and fit but ditch the zipper. We wear clothes for outdoor and office. Dual Purpose is the name of the travel game. The zippers on this killed it.

The Elaho shirt from a few years back was a much better version of an outdoor button down shirt than this one. In general, I really like Arcteryx, but why do you guys keep downgrading / discontinuing good products?

I am grateful that I purchased every color of the old pre zipper version of this shirt for my work attire. Well, It's been several years now and I would like to get some new shirts. Look at the reviews, no one wants the zipper version. What is the eta on making the change back?

The older version without the zipper is the best shirt I've ever had, have three and would like to renew with different colours. The design and fit of the revised versions makes it impossible to buy.

I feel if the old shirt fit you, this one will not. The previous was my ideal hiking shirt and now it is a boxy fit. Wider on the waist, tighter on the chest and the sleeves are shorter. In addition the zip is not as good as the previous pocket in my eyes.
