My feet are wide, so I had these stretched. That done, they fit perfectly. I’ve had them for maybe seven years, wear them constantly, worry about the day when they actually give out because these are some of the best looking, most versatile, and most comfortable things I’ve ever put on my feet. Fabulous boots, and when they do give out I’ll just get another pair!

They are so comfortable! The padded ankle support means no leg chaffing. The soles are flexible and the foot bed is cushioned. It's like wearing a comfortable running shoe but in a cute supportive leather boot. Love them.

I wear a size 10 in Allbirds and ASICS. The fit is true to size. Very comfortable and no break-inperiod. Wide toe box that is comfortable with hiking socks. Glad I bought them.

I typically wear a 10.5 narrow, and ECCO size 42 is the best match for me. There is enough room for a heavier sock or custom orthotics. I do wish there was a little more arch support so an orthotic was not needed.

They seem like nice shoes but they were too small and too narrow for me.

I wanted to love these boots! Love the more rugged, urban style. I am striking out on Ecco boots this season, though. After 3 different styles, I think I will try another brand. These seemed slightly shorter and wider than I am used to for Ecco fit in the past.

These are just about the perfect looking fashion/combat boot. Unfortunately the lack of a zip was a dealbreaker for me. It takes me a good 2-3 minutes per shoe to loosen the laces enough to get in, wiggle my foot in, try to adjust the sock which became misaligned from this, then re-tighten the laces and tie them. This is a pain in the neck when the rest of the family is waiting for me to get ready to go out. But I could have dealt with it if they were more comfortable. For me, right across the instep (about the second set of eyelets), it's painfully tight, even after last winter's seasonal wearing. I kept hoping they'd stretch out with wear, but they did not. I took the laces entirely out of the shoe to test this and it was still too tight there. On the left side, I have rubbing on the back of the heel. Normally Ecco stuff works well for me in size 38 (which is what I bought in these shoes) but this pair's going in the donations bag. Phooey.

These were the most stylish of the boots I was trying, but they were too small, and the larger size was not available, so I am only able to evaluate size and style.

These almost were a perfect fit lengthwise. I am size 9 1/2, but the 40's were just a bit too short. I found them very comfortable otherwise and seem to be well-made. I have ordered the 41's and hope that they give me just the right amount more length.

I ordered a size up. This pair is short in the toe box I have not received the new ones yet so can’t speak to walking or temperature comfort.

Great material, letter feels substantial. But alas this is for people with skinny ankles and that tis not me.

These are more like men’s wirk boots than women’s boots. They are very large in height in the toe box and uncomfortable and unattractive. The workmanship is decent. They are going back.

Ouch! These boots hurt my feet just trying them on, overall they are just too small for my foot, total foot compression with a relatively thin sock. It's a great looking boot if you have smaller feet or order a size up? Not sure if that will help with the width. Returning!
