So happy that these are returning. Living in the South I did not need the 'stocking' type and my old pair I had for years were looking sad. Slip-ons don't work for me and with my narrow feet I walk right out of the other styles. What I like:
Easy to put on and take off
Reinforced toe
Leather soles
Build quality (hope they last as long as my old pair)
"Cushy" to walk in

I bought my first pair of Acorn Polar Pair slippers 15+ years ago. I was so excited to see this slipper is available again. The Polar Pair Slipper is the best pair of slippers I have ever purchased and the quality and longevity received is well worth the purchase price.
I just received my new pair of Polar Pair Slippers, and after wearing them, I am still very impressed that the Quality and Attention to detail are still very noticeable.
Some of my favorite aspects of the slipper are the Leather Sole, Toe Reinforcement, Heel Tab, Foot Cushion, and Hight of the slipper.
The slipper fits snug against my foot and comes just above my ankle with the cuff feeling more like a sock. They are easy to get on and take off. The leather sole reduces slipping on smooth surfaces and provides additional reinforcement to the sole. The reinforced toe is especially nice as it improves the quality and longevity of the slipper, my previous pair did not have this reinforcement and developed 2 holes around the toe area. I believe this reinforced area will increase the longevity and was a brilliant design upgrade to the previous pair. The heel tab is a nice addition, it allows you to pull on the slipper without stretching the material. The stitching around the entire slipper is strong and holds tightly.
I am so excited for this new Polar Pair for Men! This is again, one of the best slippers on the market in my opinion.
Pros: 1) Comfortable, 2) Warm , 3) Non-Slip , 4) Durable , 5) Reinforced Toe , 6) Heel Tab , 7) Leather Sole , 8) Solid Construction
Cons: Cuff of Slipper is tight (however, can be stretched out for more comfort) ;

They seem very warm and cozy, but a little hard to get on.

Warm and comfortable. But they pick up a lot of static electricity on your rugged floors.

Replacing an existing worn and comfortable pair, I ordered these to find that they have been changed by adding a second layer of polar tech and a toe guard. They feel slightly smaller, probably due to the additional layer and being new. This new layer makes them feel warmer, but as they are not broken inas yet this is an initial impression. I also purchased a pair for a diabetic friend and he has found them tobe in his words like walking on a warm cloud.

The cuffs are too small resulting in a struggle to put on. Also the finger loop that is there to help put the shoe on is way to small for even an average size finger. They're soft and comfortable but too hard to get on. We had a pair from a long time ago and they use to make them with a substantial sole. The new style does not have that.

I love the slipper but it wears out fast.
The liner inside the slipper is not durable enough and my toes and heel wore through it in a couple of months. Like wearing a sock with holes in it. Didn't feel comfortable any longer.
