This boot is really nice, consistent with Born quality and fit.

Too rustic for me! I have these in black and they're beautiful, with the leather finished with a smooth, polished sheen. These are a rough, rustic leather. Not my style. I like a more refined boot.

Sometimes I'm an 8.5 (Merrell sneakers) but often I'm a 9. I ordered these in 9 and they felt like a 9.5, maybe even a 10. They also felt a bit narrow across the toes, and I have an average, not wide foot. This might stretch out and feel fine, I think it would. I showed my daughter, and her first comment was, "those make your feet look big." I don't like them enough to try the smaller size.

True to size. Very comfortable right out of the box. Like them so much that I order another pair.

These boots are extremely comfortable. Unfortunately the leather is more distressed than I realized and wanted, otherwise they would have been a keeper.

Love these boots, but having tried both an 8 (a touch too small) and 8 1/2 (a touch too large), I guess I'm somewhere in the middle. Beautifully made, great fit. My only concern is that the soles are very slippery on wet surface. Be careful out there!
