The shoes feel very stable and for being spineless they have crazy grip, they are very comfortable. I live in northern bc and the waterproof protection has been really good so far, the shoes wipe clean easily. This was my first pair of fj shoes and I'll definitely be buying more.

Firstly I love FootJoy - they are the only golf shoes I would ever buy or consider buying and these Pro|SL Sport's are by far the best they have brought out to date. They are lightweight, look great and are super comfortable.
I walk the course and carry my bag so I need great golf shoes from a comfort and performance perspective and these FootJoy's do just that. Highly recommended.

It has always been a challenge to find a comfortable and proper fitting golf shoe. This is not my first pair of Footjoy shoes and will not be the last, but it is the last for other brands that I have purchased. I needed a wide shoe and Footjoy delivered. Thank you and I have already played 6 rounds (all types of conditions) and my legs and feet do not feel any exhaustion.

I usually get the traditions but I always liked the look of these. Looks great and is super comfy. Heel slides and lifts a little while walking but nothing crazy. Another great shoe from Footjoy

The shoes are comfortable and look good but I was surprised at how quickly they lost its exterior form. I need to put shoe trees in them.

A few blisters after the first few rounds but ok now . Quite comfy but not as good as the old Dry Joys. The mesh uppers are not easy to clean and hold onto sand . Good sturdy grip though.

These shoes weren't as comfortable as my previous Pro/SLs. They appeared to not be as wide. Not sure if they change the sizing for 2E shoes.

Good golf shoe. The shoe width runs a bit wider than I was expecting, I can still play golf in it but my foot does move laterally during through swing.
Sweepstakes!!

Very comfortable being a right handed golfer I would love to see a rigid outer skirting to hold the outside of the foot and toes in a better supportive position

I really like the look of this shoe and happy I bought it. I bought a 10 wide and my toes are scrunched up a bit at the front but I feel like the more I golf that will stretch it out. Overall happy with the product

I've always worn Foot Joy shoes for golf and I could buy them in a 9.5M knowing they would fit without trying them on first. But not with the PRO SL Sport. This is an incredibly narrow shoe especially at the toe box. I returned the M and ordered a Wide in my size and they're much better, but I fear they'll be too loose once they break in. It's a great looking and good quality shoe but the sizing is off so I suggest test driving a wider pair in your size before committing to them.
P.S. I tried the Pro SL as well and it fits the same (narrow) as the Pro SL Sport.

Pros - Would 100% recommend, and ended up getting another pair. The fit and comfort are fantastic. So much more support and stability than I had ever imagined from 'spikeless' shoes. I've played 36 holes in a day multiple times over the last year with these shoes and have never had foot soreness or fatigue. They do surprisingly well with rain/wet conditions.
Cons - The outer pseudo rubber/mesh stuff is impossible to get stains out of. Once a stain gets into it, you're not getting the stains out. If you can keep them clean right away, that will help. Mine made it about 9 months before the stains got to be pretty bad, and just under a year before the upper started coming apart from the lower.
For reference - not paid for this review. Have played roughly 6-10 rounds a month over the last year, with these shoes being my primary pair of shoes throughout.

This is a great shoe and truly waterproof. My only issue is that I didn't get a wide shoe and only realized after a round that it was too tight for walking 18 holes. Unfortunately, the policy says no returns once worn so I had to buy thinner insoles which make it better but still a little tight. Overall, great shoe just the regular is too narrow for me.

Great looking shoe but normal Foot Joy size of 7.5 normal width was a little narrow for my foot. You might want to order the extra width for greater comfort.

For the last 2+ years, I have been struggling to find a very good golf shoe that meets my needs on the golf course and for my body. From Nike (ugh!), Puma (meh.), Adidas (huh?) and so on, I just couldn't find the right fit and comfort for my feet. I have had severe back issues and knee pain and none of those brands could alleviate any of it. And so, I made the daunting decision to come back to FootJoy.
Now, I had a great pair of an original pair of the Contour Series from the early 2010's. Unfortunately, I wore those to the ground because they were SO GOOD! I had them for four years and when they started having more holes than I had pars and birdies, well it was time to say farewell to them. I had worn other models of FootJoy after that, but the common theme that kept occurring was sizing, comfort, fit and width. I have had custom orthotics for the last 10+ years and trying to find a golf shoe that can co-operate with it is a difficult undertaking. As you saw earlier in this review, I have gone through so many brands and none of them offered a complete package that I was in need of.
So, I went to my local golf retailer here in Toronto and I did try on the Pro SL Sport. Now granted, FootJoy is very big for my feet and I have wide feet. All they had was Medium width in the store. However, I went down 1/2 a size and noticed the fit was right. So I figured if I acquire a Wide width in size 10.5 instead of size 11, maybe just maybe, I have FINALLY found what I have been looking for for so long! And so I took a leap of faith and ordered the Pro SL Sport in Black and White.
FINALLY!
All I can say is this, my 2023 golf season will be a fantastic year. This golf shoe IS the complete package. Comfort, stability, fit and size, all four of those forms of criteria that I look for in a golf shoes is in the FootJoy Pro SL Sport. Why it took so long to find it, I'll never understand. However, I am done going to any other brand but only FootJoy.
The search is FINALLY OVER!

Really enjoying these. Comfortable but I would recommend a half size larger. Wide feet. #sweepstakes

these shoes are really comfy. What bothers me though, is type of bottom plate.
they're like so many sharp pins sticking out for the traction and make my feet tired.
i want them to be just flat. if the bottom plate of the shoes were plain flat, I would keep them.

The build quality is fine - this shoe runs narrower than the standard pro SL or Carbon. Narrow enough that they are uncomfortable

Good traction with spikes and good stability through the heel/body of the shoe for a “sneaker style” golf shoe. Look good as well. Ran small for me but I always order extra wide too. 1 size smaller than usual fit well for me.
