Good looking and comfortable shirt. Tall version is extra long, so be sure you need the Tall size.

I really like this shirt. It has been laundered a couple of times, and all appears to be fine. The interior pocket would be good for eyeglasses, but perhaps not a phone. If this shirt came in red, just plain old red, I'd be now ordering another shirt. Where did all the red shirts go? Anyway, I bought the blue, or what passes for blue, and it looks good despite all the crazy names for colors.

The shirt fitted perfectly and I liked the buttons I made a good choice.

I'm a long-time buyer of Bean's sunwashed canvas shirts, and this shirt is similar. A little lighter in weight and slightly smaller in cut, but still an honest XL in size. I'm not sure the 1% spandex is needed and it wouldn't bother me if it was omitted, although I see no downside of having a little stretch. The shirt comes out of the dryer fine. How about some added colors, like a dark brown or dark green? All told, a nice shirt.

This is a fantastic shirt that you can wear untucked. Perfect XXL fit for big man (true to chest size in chart). Only wish there were more colors, including black, and a short sleeve option.

I spend my summers fishing and hanging around in mountain settings. Thus hot days and cool evenings. I prefer sport shirts with open (non-buttondown) collars. I don't know why. I like these. The XL is pretty loose on me, but not tent-like. I'm sure I could be comfy in a large but I like loose. I also like the patch pocket without the flap. The flap gets in the way if I actually stow something in the pocket, which I do. Frequently. I'll live with the possibility of something falling out. I've worn the "Sunwashed" canvas shirts for ages, and I think I actually like these better.

I usually order the canvass shirts and have for many years. So.. I thought that I'd try this. Have to say that it is a great shirt and I'll be getting more of this style in the future. L L Bean is very consistent in quality fit and durability. It's a good looking shirt for around town ( and takes quite a while before it makes it to the "work shirt" stage) and backcountry lifestyles. Get one, You wont be disappointed!

Finally!! A nice button down twill shirt with a spread collar. Sure wish it came in more colors. A burgundy and darker green would be welcome.

In most shirts wears a Medium, but for this shirt Small fit well. The material is quite substantial and should last for many years.

I first ordered Large Tall, but the "Traditional Fit" was way to roomy for me. Returned for a Medium Tall (first time I've ever had a medium), and the fit is perfect. Also, it's a lovely, substantial material, with great buttons, no flaps on the 2 pockets - just what I wanted.

This is a medium to heavy weight cotton twill casual shirt. But with some minor ironing, it could look right at home under a sport coat. The construction is very good (buttons are better quality) and the fit is relaxed/traditional. I am very pleased with the open collar and non-flap/no button chest pockets. Simple style and quality materials/construction... what more could you ask?

This is a heavy cotton shirt. Use it opened with a t-shirt under or untucked. It is a little baggy, but I like it that way especially untucked.

The shirt is a heavy twill and a little stiffer than I expected. It washes up nice and didn't shrink. The sleeves are long enough. I took off one star because the pockets are a little shallow and my glasses stick out.

Good quality, comfortable, durable. Solid, heavy fabric. Makes a good work shirt. However, sizing is BIZARRE. The sleeves are skin tight. I have skinny arms and it fits me ok, so if your arms are normal or large sized, they may not fit through. The collar size is HUGE. I mean really GIGANTIC. My XL shirts fits but I measured the collar size at over 20 inches! I normally take 17". Even with the top button fastened it hangs off my neck with a couple inches to spare. Good for weekends. Don't wear it to the office.

Nicely made shirt. Was heavier material than needed and too long for my 5'6' husband.

I would of rated a five star, however I did not realize that the flex feature would have spandex with cotton. I prefer all naturel material. Also on third time wearing the shirt to top button fell off.

Bought this for my husband who liked the shirt. The sleeves were too long so he had them altered. My husband who is an LL Bean fan wishes there were more specific size options for a better fit instead of S,M, L , especially at this price point.

Not as good as the older canvas shirts. Old shirt had a flap over the pockets.
