Button holes are way too small difficult to button and unbutton. If I had arthritis it would be impossible to button.

This is a lightweight shirt perfect for keeping the sun sun off. The shirt is relaxed fit. My usual medium fits fine. I love the pockets on the side. I also really like the snaps at the collarmakes for a great finished look. The chamois fabric in the left front inner corner is a handy wipe for sunglasses. I'm pleased with my purchase.

I like this shirt. I ordered a size up and wear it like a light jacket to walk in the woods. The fabric is comfortable (when warm weather arrives it will still be my go-to woods-walking shirt), the side pockets are great. I am not dreading bug season this year! I did open up the buttonholes just a bit to ease buttoning, no problem. For me, it's a fine shirt to wear and the orange is a surprisingly lovely color.

Best bug shirt ever! I'm an avid New England gardener and this shirt repels bugsI still need to wear a mosquito net over my head though. I read about the problem with the too tight button holes and just clipped the buttonhole openings a bit with a small sharp scissors. With this shirt, I don't need to use bug repellent. I would recommend it to anyone who is outside a lot in New England.

I purchased this shirt to wear while gardening. It is very comfortable and seems to keep the bugs away. I have not had any problems with the buttons as some others have mentioned in their reviews. I have some of the No Fly Zone pullover shirts which are also very nice, but this one is lighter weight and cooler when the temperature begins to rise. I wish these clothes came in petite. I have a couple pairs of the No Fly Zone pants, also, and everything is large on me, but I put up with it in order to keep the tics and mosquitoes away.

Great fit! Buttons are a little tough to button and unbutton but they get looser with time.

Most comfortable and perfect for keeping the mosquitos away, as well as UPF 50+. These shirts are quality and well made, look and feel great. I plan to buy more!

Nice shirt! I bought it for gardening. Not sure about the bug resistant material yet but the two zipped side pockets are a major plus and they aren't mentioned in the description that I could find. I liked the other one I bought from Bean (Tropicwear Pro Stretch) a bit better but it only has one side zipped pocket along with two zipped chest pockets. Both of these shirts have tabs to keep shelves rolled up when desired. This fit nicely but the button holes are a bear to undo. L. L. Bean needs to offer more colors or a variety, not just pastels. Many of us look terrible in these soft colors and don't wear them even in spring or summer if we can help it. I'm sick of having to compromise on this. It's the same with all the women's shirts offered on this site currently. I would have bought twice as much if I was able to find any t-shirts or over-shirts in earth tones.

My number one reason for purchasing this shirt was for sun protection for the Fall. I was pleased with the medium weight of the fabric and simplicity of the style. I was very pleased that the "dark olive" was really a lighter shade of olive, like sage, which makes it much more versatile for any time of year. The No Fly Zone is an added benefit. I normally order a size medium, but ordered a size large so that I can wear it over other tops. I'm pleased with this purchase.

This is a great shirt with lots of pockets and even a cloth to wipe your glasses sewn in. The only complaint I have is that the buttonholes are way too tight. I had to use a lot of force and lots of time to undo the buttons after receiving the shirt. Manufacturing problem. Not a quality problem.

This shirt is more like a "working shirt" as the fabric is a bit stiff. However, with that said, it helps create a smooth line and covers any stomach "rolls" and helps keep a nice profile. I am using it as an outdoors shirt and think it is great. I wish there were pockets on BOTH sides and also short sleeve versions. I ordered additional long sleeve and had the sleeves shorten. I know the "tails" are in style, but it was too long for my taste and also had the hem made straight all around.

Looks good, fits well, very comfortable. I wear it outside when I don't want to be bitten by mosquitoes. Seems to work well in that regard. The button holes are very tight and need to be worked to loosen up.

Wow! This product works great. Did my first hike with this yesterday and NO bites whatsoever. You could see the mosquitos swarming about a foot and a half in front, but it was like being surrounded by a magic bubble! XS size was a bit too large, but just so happy with the performance that it didn't matter. So much better that using bug spray. HIGHLY recommend!

The material has a nice feel and drape, and I love the color (deep olive) and the side seam zip pockets. This is a terrific shirt!

I bought this shirt because I really needed sun-protection for a trip I was taking and I wanted the insect repellent because biting insects love me. I really like the color and overall I like the shirt. It would be nice if it came in a Petite, but I am wearing it like a jacket instead of a shirt.

I am very please with this purchase. I bought this shirt after a bout of Lyme disease to wear while weeding my gardens. I stayed cool and protected. No problems with any bugs of any kind bothering me while I worked.

This is a very nice outdoor shirt. I think due to the treatment, the fabric is a little stiff, but only mildly so. I wish there was a short sleeve version, but since there is not, I am ordering more shirts and having them tailored. I LOVE LOVE the zippered side seam pockets. So practical!

Lightweight, fits well, wicks away sweat, and no ticks after a long time in the woods! The buttonholes are a little tight, but I was able to manage.
