Tights are well made. I would like a drawstring as the weight of my phone In leg pocket pulls the waist down slightly. Otherwise they are the usual LL Bean quality.

Really wanted to like these pants, as they are warm and I love the color. However, they do not stay up. They constantly slide down whether I'm hiking or working around the house. For reference, I am 5'8", weigh 142 lbs and bought a size Small Regular.

I ordered these tights thinking they would be nice and thick for winter. They are just an average weightnot thin, but not what I was expecting for it's $79 price point. I am normally a size 6 pants, 5'4" and the size small was too large. At first they felt fine, but as I was cleaning the house and moving around a little, they started dropping and sagging down. They were also extremely long and bunched at my ankles. I will be returning these for a smaller size. Hopefully the tighter fit will keep the ankles from bunching. Love the side pockets and flat, high waistband.

I really like these, tight but not too tight. Thick but not too thick. The only negative is that hay really clings to them and I wear them to the barn. Pockets for phone are perfect.

Nice thick quality pants! Only issue is I have to keep pulling them up the waste is a little loose.

These are great tights. I like the overall fit and really wanted full length tights which are hard to find. The only draw back is the ankles are a little baggy on me.

I loves these tights! I have 3 pair now. My only complaint is I wish the color black was a true black (kind of a brown black) and that there were more prints to pick from!

I like these tights. They are pretty warm, the pockets are nice, the length is good. I wish there was a drawstring for the waist though. They don't stay up quite as well as I would like.

I would have given these tights 5 stars except the sizing is perplexing. At 4'11 and 110 lbs I would have anticipated being a petite XS but that's not the case. I had to buy a petite XXS in order for them to fit. I bought several other styles in a petite XS (no XXS offered) and they were too large - not even close to fitting. Over the last 20 years I have gone from a petite small, to a petite XS and now a petite XXS. And I have weighed the same throughout. I hate vanity sizing - I don't have any idea what size I wear anymore. If it wasn't for reviews that list height and weight I would be lost. Among top name outdoor clothing stores I currently wear a petite small, a petite XS and now apparently a petite XXS. It is so frustrating...

Good thick material. I got a petite small and the size is good. The one thing that is annoying is that the pockets are low on the legs and stick out a little.

Only 4-stars because they do not have a drawstring. They are fine for kicking around and yoga but when I run in them they tend to ride down. I would get a pair in every color if they had a drawstring. These are nice and fit well. I love the pockets and they are nice and long enough.

Comfortable and they have POCKETS! These are great workout pants on their own, but are also comfortable to wear under hiking pants for added warmth.

These are nice leggings! (It says tights in the title, but they're opaque). They are a comfortable mid-rise height, which I love. I hate high-rise leggings and it is so hard to find anything that isn't high rise. The pockets are a really nice touch. I found these true to size -- I'm 5'3" and generally a size 4, and the Small Petite worked well in these. If you're around my height, definitely get them in Petite -- even the Petite was a tiny bit too long, but workable. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because they're expensive. Other than that, I love them.

I used the sizing chart, and as seems to be a problem across the site, the one I ordered was way too big despite careful measuring. But since I returned the rest of my order for this reason, I kept these because I really needed new pants. I like everything about these pants but I'm going to have to pin them to keep them on.

Especially like the pockets as they easily fit my phone. But overall, very comfortable and do not lose their shape when washing. A great purchase!

The leggings are warmer than regular ones and that makes them good for walks on cool days. The side pockets are deep enough for a phone, keys, etc. The color is not a true black; it's more like a faded black. I am 5' 3" and found the length too long (my legs are longer than most my height and the petites are often too short). I am slim but not skinny and found the legs are a bit looser than normal. So, if you like your tights tight, I would go for a smaller size. But, if you don't want to feel compressed, these would work.

I love these performance tights with the exception that even though I ordered petite small, they are still too long. I am 5' tall and they are at least 2-2-1/2 inches too long.

These are excellent quality and the fit is perfect, with no need to pull and adjust during the day. i won't buy leggings with out pockets, so I was happy to find these. I followed the advice and sized down to the M when I typically go for the L There is only one thing I don't like about these, though it wasn't a deal breaker. I find that the Bean logo on the left ankle distracts from the clean lines of the leggings. I always buy plain black because they can be dressed up with a nice tunic and ballet flats, and the presence of this visible brand logo eliminates this option

These pants are on the thicker side & I expect they will be great for the cooler weather. They are way too long & will have to be hemmed. They fit comfortably through my hips but the waist is really too big. I love the pockets. Unfortunately, they will be relegated to wearing around the house and garden. I will love them for that.

5 stars for hiking - so comfortable, pockets are awesome. 2 stars for yoga - the waistband does NOT stay in place during forward folds/inversions, constantly pulling waist back up is super annoying. Wish the waistband was higher. Cozy for lounging around the house or doing yardwork. My biggest concern is how long these will hold up. They snag really easily, and I fear that regular use will wear them out faster than other similarly-priced athletic pants. (Hope I'm proven wrong on this last feeling!)

I bought these for running. I really like the fit and the soft feel! They're not very tight, which I like. The downside of that is they sag a little during and I have to pull them up now and then during my run. Otherwise very happy!

I have been looking for tights that have large enough pockets for my cell phone, and these are perfect. Based on other reviews, I sized down but I still think they are a bit large. I ordered the regular length because even though I am 5'3" my inseam is on the cusp, and I have a long torso and petites normally are too short in the waist. I do wish they had a draw string because my waist is small and I feel like the tights may fall down a bit while I am running but they will be fine for walking, Crossfit and yoga. I am ordering another pair because they are good quality, comfortable and look nice on.

ok tights. The problem is that when you wash them a lot of lint gets formed. so not cool. also these are not black, they are more gray...

I bought these tights because they had phone-size pockets and because I'd had an excellent experience with another style of Bean tights. For the price, these tights are only adequate. The fabric catches lint like crazy and holds onto it. A lint brush doesn't take it off. I have to remove it by hand. The tights were too long and stretch out at the waist, so I'm constantly having to hitch them up. As a result, I rarely use the pockets (which are perfect) for my phone. I'm a solid size 14 so would not have expected I'd need a medium. Next time I'll know.
