The best set ever to buy I have got and the little one set and shoes to wear

About 2 months after building the lego shoe I decided to look for the adidas superstars luckily I found them with the price tag still on them that wasn't the hard part the hard part is trying to a SIZE 18 shoe

The sneaker looks great completed. Love the details of the laces. Thanks for a fun build.

Great Set! Overall The Building Experience Was Great. But The Price Was A Little Over The Top. Other Than That This Set Was Great!

I created an account just so I can review this set. My son got me this for Mother's Day, thank you son. I've always bought him Lego sets but had never built one on my ownI was so excited to get this and start building, it's definitely a conversation starter. The best word to describe it is DOPE! I'm old-school and this takes me back to Run-DMC days "My Adidas". I have to say this is one of the top Mother's Day gifts I've received. Great job Lego on this design, outstanding. Shelltoe's have always been one of my staples.

These are so cool and fun to build and they made it very easy to customize the look of how you can make the shoe.

Looks just like the actual shoe, and has instructions/pieces to build either the left or right shoe. Base is solid the top not so much but stays together fine

I built this intending to give to my granddaughter who assists me with my Lego builds. However when my 39 year old son saw it he wanted it for his home - as a show piece. I therefore had to purchase another one! Excellent build, authentic looking. With regards a previous review with regards missing pieces I have built many, many advanced models (typewriter, camper van, mini car, Disney castle, to name a few) and NEVER had missing pieces, always some spare.

I personally think that this lego set was very amusing to make it had its struggles but overall my brother did enjoy it. It also comes in a Adidas shoe box. It was bigger then I expected which is a very good thing. It was a happy surprise.

Delivery was timed well before Christmas. Unique build, nice to display finished product.

I personally became in love with this new idea of creating life like shoes out of Lego's. I definitely recommend it to anyone even if it's a birthday gift or even a Christmas gift! I'm a bit disappointed that this is the only set out right now, but I surly do hope there will be more to come in the future!

This was so fun we couldn't stop building! The shoe strings are an excellent touch!

Me and the girl each built a shoe. To my surprise and contrary to other reviews, each set has enough pieces to independently build either shoe. Meaning you can buy only one kit and build either shoe if you want. From my experience there was a lot of confusion regarding this. Each kit comes with an extra (7th) bag of parts to cover the left side variants. I wish this was made more clear. Overall, it was a really fun build. As every one says, the shoe laces are a really nice touch. Also, the stand is surprisingly secure, given how heavy the shoe is. 9/10 would totally recommend but I am a huge Adidas/Lego fan so this may be a little bias. ;)

I bought this set on a whim because the concept of the build was intriguing and I saw that it was retiring soon. As soon as I received the package I knew I had made a great choice. LEGO spared no authenticity with this set. Everything from the shoebox packaging, to the white paper shoe wrapping on the inside, to the actual shoelace that comes as part of the build served to make this an immersive building experience and one of the more memorable LEGO sets I've built lately. The only part of the set I took issue with is the tip of the shoe, which is made out of two large bricks rather than what I hoped was a combination of smaller ones. This somewhat took away from the building experience, however this is still a great set and still worth the purchase.

This was fun to build, but once it's all put together it's pretty fragile, even to pick up the sides or the front of the sole fall off easily. The box/packaging are fantastic.

I have to say I was shocked I enjoyed this piece as much as I do. I thought it was a bit overzealous and interesting at first, or just not enough for me to get it, but I found it at a price I could not say no to on a 3rd party site. It was actually a fun build, and I found it to be cute and charming in a way. The one minus if I was to give it one is that you find out at the very end you could have built this as either the right shoe or left shoe. It would be nice to know that upfront on step 1. The one really cool thing, and this is weird for me to say, but I feel that the box itself has a 'new shoe box' smell to it. Not sure if that was intentional, or some psychosomatic type thing where I just imagined it, but it literally smelled like a box of new shoes.
