Love the colors and style but gave me heel blisters

This would be my first pair of Vans as I normally wear Merrells, but I'm looking for something more on the sneaker side of a boot, especially for my upcoming trip to Ireland next month. I have read that Vans can fit approximately a half-size bigger, but also have read people ordering a half-size up. I normally wear an 11-11.5 in Merrell, looking for feedback on size difference between the two brands. Thanks in advance.

I already own 2 pairs of the UltraRange EXO Shoe, which i love!! They are so comfortable. Decided to get this pair of UltraRange EXO MTE as my commuting shoes - the fit is different, they are tighter, I probably should have returned and exchanged for a half-size bigger but kept them and am hoping that with some break-in time they wont be as tight anymore.

Like the stile of the sho but really tide in front at the point to hurt my feet and I should to return it

I'd gone through three no-go pairs of shoes to walk to work Abeo, Adidas, another pair of Vans. I am female, usually 7.5, slightly wide fit. Normal width can work, but needs to not be on the narrow side of normal. So initially I got the green in Women's 8, and liked it so much I immediately bought the black on black, which I wear daily now. It's maybe more than needed for SoCal winter, but more I've also comfortably worn them on recent 80 degree days without issue. They don't rub anywhere which sometimes is an issue at the ankle in high tops for me. I walk 3-7mi a day at least three days a week, and 1-3mi a day on the others. These are lightweight for the support they provide. I have a connective tissue disorder which makes subluxation of joints more likely. With these my feet never hurt. My arches and ankles are supported. I love them. It's been my daily shoe for two months of heavy use and they look like new. I did spray the water repellent on them to double down on waterproofing and keep them nice. They currently look like new but when they went 30% off I bought another pair of black on black cause I never want to be without them again. I love them!!

Out of the box they look great. Took a few days of wearing them in and now they are super comfortable and fit great. And they keep my feet warm and dry. I've had them in 20 degrees weather and my feet were just fine. But I've had them for exactly 30 days and the soles or the shoe and the mid soles are starting to separate from the shoe one shoe is almost completely disconnected on one side. I've been wearing vans my whole life and they have never fallen part like this. Other than that they are a good shoe

These shoes are great. I've been wearing them every day since I got them and they're super warm and waterproof. The only bad thing I can say is that they're definitely a bit narrow. I've never had to buy wide shoes before either, especially in Vans which I'm always a size 11 and they fit perfectly, but this specific shoe is tight. Maybe ordering a half size up would have fixed it? I'm not sure, but I've been breaking them in and they're more comfortable every day.

I received these as a gift in my usual Vans size of 11. When I tried them on they were a little snug and the toe box was extremely crammed. I had to return them since they were sold out in every other size and color. I would suggest sizing up at least a half size.

I like the shoe, fit comfortable. But they make my feet sweat a lot, even when worn or cold/freezing days. Anyone else have this problem?

Try before you buy. These are nicely insulated shoes but they were not made so that it takes that into account. They are too tight. I can't wear them. My recommendation is that you try these on first they otherwise seem like a great shoe.

Cool shoe but the stings are so short. I don't have a wide foot and can barely get a knot tied. .

These boots are cool but they are extremely stiff. So stiff they hurt. I am doing everything the website says to do to fix this but for now they hurt

Love love love this shoe. But the toebox is too small, very tight and uncomfortable fit for men's size 12. Wish a wide option existed. Very disappointed.

The shoes are great looking, and the right one is really comfy but the left has quarter sized lump under the toebox. QC issues like others mention:(

I purchased these shoes for an upcoming trip and they are comfortable and amazing but the shoelaces are stained with some brown stuff! Such a bummer for a brand new full priced shoe. I have no time to exchange before my trip so I just have to accept it

Love the way they look but returned them due to the poor fit. Have a semi wide foot and currently have a more traditional pair of vans that I've had no problems with. Per others suggestions I ordered a half size up and even still the toe box was very tight. Oddly, the vertical height was very cramped to the point that when I walked the material would fold up and rub my toes. They were painful just walking around the house. Also the shoes are extremely hot. Just sitting on the couch, not even walking around, my feet were sweating.

Love these as everyday work shoes. Sadly, lasted me only 5 months before the bottom of the shoe/heel part started to come off. :(

I love these boots. They are comfortable and really durable. Definitely buying another pair. If you're looking for a hiking boot look no further.

Nice boots but a bit snug around the toes, they should loosen up after some break in.

I bought half size bigger yet they were still tight as a snare drum.

The toe area is too narrow, even after going up a half size. Different insoles helped a bit. Hard to put on and take off, but do have great grip/waterproof.
