I like this shoes so much. I bought same shoes of last year version. Wearing with comfort and feeling light.
I'd also recommend:
Arcteryx, Mammut, Black Diamond (poles)....

I bought my first pair of these 2 hard years ago and they have carried me far. I usually blow through the toe area, but not these.
I am finally into a new pair this fall. If you are hard on shoes but don't want or need big ol clunker boots these will be awsome for you

Both my husband and I bought the aerios mid gtx last month.
We use the shoe daily for walks with our dog and trekkings in weekends and the holidays.
We recommend the shoes highly !
The grip is great (no slipping and no sore footsoles even after walking for hours on rocky terrain), the waterproof quality (a necessity for us) is great and the shoes are soooo light, you hardly notice you are wearing them.
We used to walk in Merrell's (also wonderful shoes with the same qualities) but the Aerios is even lighther.
The mid has the added bonus of keeping dirt out of your shoes and it is not a "huge" walking boot : no problem to keep them on in the city, you still look stylish in the blue or black boot.
If you want a completely reliable walking shoe for minimal weight : get the Aerios mid gtx. You won't regret it.

I bought a third pair around 2 months ago as I had worn through my last 2 pairs, this pair was even better I don't know what exactly got updated but there is a little extra space in the toebox which is nice. I work outdoors and knowing my feet will stay dry is a huge plus. They are also very grippy so very little chance of slippage. Awesome shoes

I liked the simplistic yet stylish design but mid height goretex functionality, and although I don't like buying shoes online as I can't check the fit, I decided to order a pair and I'm very happy with them. I travel with these shoes as they are nice looking enough to go out to eat yet functional enough to take them on a hike so I don't need to bring multiple shoes on a trip, this pair can do it all.

Bought a pair last year, I can tell you these shoes are amazing . Possibly the best shoes I ever had. They are great looking and very functional. Plus they are very comfortable and will definitely last for long time. I would recommend them.

I bought these shoes almost a month ago and I am so happy about my decision. They look so good, they are extremely comfortable and perfect for rainy days.

These shoes are so comfy yet also supportive. They're sorta halfway between a trainer and a boot. They look great, I love that I can wear them out on a regular day and if I happen to end up walking a long way (as I often do) my feet don't hurt when I get home. And they don't make my feet stinky despite being waterproof. I suspect this won't be my last pair

I have unfeasibly large feet for a 6 footer Arc'teryx size 12.5 are an absolute joy to wear they fit absolutely perfectly. They are waterproof and hard wearing. I machine wash cool with a towel every couple of months and after a hard session put a capful of rubbing alcohol in the shoes jiggle it around and leave to dry. The vibrant soles on the right side are completely flattened off after 200 miles or so but the top material has never split or torn.. I have five pairs on rotation.. and recently been using them as golf shoes as they really are super comfortable and make clown feet look sensibly stylish.

I wore these on my recent holiday as my Scarpa boots are too warm in the summer. They are so very comfortable and I don't think I've ever worn lighter footwear! They protect your feet and have enough support to prevent ankle rolls, and keep you dry.

These could be the best Arc'teryx shoes I have ever owned (and I have a few). Extremely comfortable, very supportive and yet light weight. Look great. All in all I would definitely recommend these.

These shoes looked great and had impressive features online. After I received, they were stiff and uncomfortable. I had hoped that the shoe would be light and flexible for hiking etc. The description also stated waterproof but the fit did not appear it would keep out water.

I had two pairs of hiking shoes of an older model very similar to this shoe. I love them. After years of use, one of those pairs sent me up to Mt Fuji. The soles on both pairs still don't show noticeable wear and tear, very sturdy. I bought this pair for daily walks in bad weather. They felt like my old shoes but the toe box is roomier and the size runs large, at least for women's sizes. My old pairs are 7.5 but now 7 fits me. I think it should work for me in the long run, but didn't keep the shoes because I later discovered "NORVAN LD 3 GTX" which fits my casual need better.

I bought these to replace my Northface Fastback GTX hiking boots, as they seemed like a comparable boot. These boots are much more comfortable, and better quality. Im hoping they will last much longer than the northface boots, which only managed to get a couple years out of. I was highly disappointed with the quality of the northface boots, and their response when I wrote their customer service and warranty department about this. Looking forward to putting the miles on my new Arcteryx hiking boots!

My job takes me both inside and out and I wanted footwear that I dont have to switch out. These gortex hikers are perfect for that. Comfy and dry no matter what the weather.

Hello. I bought these about one mo. ago. Very nice looking, comfortable fit. Good grip in the wet with the soles. Only one thing to note. Since I bought these online without a fitting, I went with the larger of two sizes considered, since your sizing is only in US mens. They're not too long, but they are quite wide and with a large volume toe box, so I went out and purchased very thin insoles and now they're pretty much spot on. And I thought I had pretty wide feet. I've done a few walks of five to six km and very comfortable now. Almost feels like barefoot walking. Keep the sizing issue in mind.

Bought these on sale ordered my normal 10.5 but they where way too big. They looked nice and well made. In returns there was no option to exchange for a smaller size and the sale was over so Ill never know how they actually perform or last.

It was love at first sight and at first touch. I felt and feel amazing, free and so light!
BUT it is hard to keep them white and not ruin them when cleaning.

Suitable for lightweight regular hikes, Id pick this for backpacking or anything with heavy gears as the seams might not hold up. Its lightweight and waterproof. Tested it in heavy rain and the inside was completely dry.
