After waiting 10 days for the shipment to arrive, I put on one boot and it was too narrow to stand in, much less walk in. For anyone who needs forefoot or toe room, these are definitely not the boots to buy.

Love love love these boots. A nice height - high enough to provide ankle support (which saves weight - important to senior women) and makes it easy to avoid snow falling into the boot. They're comfortable and supportive. I've worn both without and with YakTrax. We get a lot of rain in where we live in Washington and only a few weeks of snow and ice. These boots ensure I can get out for my three mile daily walk no matter the weather. Plus they're rather cute!

I am a senior who walks a couple of miles every day - in snow, sun, sleet, or rain (which we get a lot of here in the Pacific Northwest). Thus having shoes and boots that allow me to do this safely and comfortably is important to me. I wore out my old slush/snow boots and needed a new pair. After exchanging emails with Bogs' helpful customer service as I compared boots, I ordered these. I am delighted. They are surprisingly light in total weight for a winter boot, have great soles providing lots of traction, easy to get on, can add my YakTrax if it's particularly icy outside and/or gaiters if walking in deeper snow. I also appreciate the mid height which makes easier to put them on and take them off. I would remind purchasers to try them on with thick winter socks. I am a size 11.5 US/42 Euro and ordered size 11. I first put them on with the socks I was wearing with my Birkenstocks. I commented to my husband that they felt rather roomy. He chuckled (grew up in the Midwestern snow belt) and suggested I try them on wearing a pair of thick winter socks. Perfect!

The shoes fit very well and are comfortable. It is a nice addition to have a shoe boot for quick trips in and out of stores. I hope the great "treads" on the bottom will be a plus walking on ice. That I do not know yet. Very well made and quality boot.

Love my new winter boots. Great grip for ice and snow. Used to always wear a 9 and a half. Bought a 10 which accommodates my orthotics.

Very warm and comfortable shoe. I really appreciate the soft liner on top part shoe that adds extra comfort. They are very warm but they don't look nor feel bulky. The sole is durable and slip resistant, I tested it out on a walk with some ice patches and they had great traction. I was looking for something for the cold Wisconsin winter but I wanted an option not to have a big and tall boots. They are very versatile, easy to put on and warm.

These boots have been exactly what I needed these past few snowy days in Wisconsin. They are SO comfortable, warm & even cuter in person. I like that the fur lining stops at the ankles, otherwise I think my feet would be too warm. They're very light weight, considering how thick the traction is on the soles. They're great for walking the kids to school, taking the dog for walks and running errands in snowy/slushy conditions. My feet stay warm and dry with each use. I'm usually an 8.5 but sized down to 8's since the 8.5's were just a little too big for my foot. It's an all around great boot - I highly recommend for those busy ladies out there.

So glad I bought these. Warm, roomy enough with great tread. I could wear them on the farm or the snowy winter streets of Kanazawa.

Taking these boots on a trip to the Finnish Lapland's. They are so comfortable and warm! This was my first bogs purchase and won't be my list. Shoes fit true to size. Customer service was excellent in helping me make an initial shoe selection. And shipping was fast!

Gave these to my daughter who spends lots of time outside in very cold winter temps. She gives them a definite THUMBS UP FOR COMFORT, WARMTH, STYLE

I ordered a half size smaller than I usually wear because of previous reviews, unfortunately for me I needed my true size so I had to return to up my size. I say they fit true to size. I love, love them and they are comfortable! Not sure I would spend a day out in the cold with them .. but for running around and casual wear I would recommend with no doubt. And so cute on top of it !!

Great boot! It runs big. Once I got the correct fit I am am very happy with the warmth and traction. Good boot for winter walking and around town errands.

First of all, the two- tone taupe and black color is very cute and versatile! They are easy to take on and off and the faux fur lining feels very soft (especially around the ankles). They keep my feet warm and dry and I'm sure the non- slip sole will provide great traction on those slippery Wisconsin days! Most importantly, they are very comfortable. Love these boots!

Love this new Mid Arcata They have an excellent grip for snow/ ice and my feet stayed toasty warm while walking dog in the low 30's and I'm hoping the same when temperatures drop here in MidWest The width is fine and the best feature for me is they open wide enough to accommodate my ankle brace and still close Being waterproof is also a must feature for me

The boots are very warm and comfortable however they are not as cushiony as I expected. I haven't worn them out in snow or slippery conditions yet to say how well the traction is. They look good and fit correctly for my size. Overall, I am very pleased. I wish they had more cushion on the footed.

Cute and functional boots, but they absolutely needed an insole. There was no arch support and kind of an odd/uncomfortable feeling for my feet until I got a good quality insole. Now they are much better. I bought a size 9, my normal size, and after wearing these (outside, of course) a few times, I also realize I could've possibly sized down a half size. No chance for an exchange at this point, so I will wear heavier socks with these as well. Haven't tried them in the depths of winter yet, but so far they seem to get the job done on muddy and cold trails and yard work days.

They seemed relatively comfortable and warm (I don't like heeled shoes) however, the toe box was quite narrow. I expected the toe box to be a bit more wide based on my other Bogs boots so I gave a 4 star (and returned them) for that purpose. They are a chunky boot so look weird with a more tapered footbox.

Love the look of this shoe but it was to narrow for my foot. Mind you my foot is between a C and D width and based on the reviews I read I thought it might fit, but no.

FIRST: I don't know if there were prior returns as the added insole was peeling away and worn SECOND: they lack ANY ankle support, even tightening the laces did not help THIRD: I don't know how there are rated -34 when they are just felt with a thermal removable insole FIT: fits true to size. I bought a women's 8 WIDTH: what to be expected for Bogs..they are roomy but not too roomy OVERALL: maybe these would be perfect for others but definitely not warm enough (even walking around inside the house)

I bought these boots that i wore inside a day or two. They fit and were comfortable. I had read one of your reviews from someone that said you are true to size. great I agreed. I wore them outside the next day with warm winter socks and my feet were cold in 30 degree weather. I believe you may have them advertized for below zero and 200 grams . I think it is how they lace up . Though I really pulled the laces tight the air gets into the top. They need a few more laces for a snug top.I had already tried your taller boots in a store. They were too tall for a comfortable walk of a mile or two.
