I'm a chaplain and EMR for our county fire department. As a volunteer with another day job I don't often wear a uniform beyond a vest when responding to calls. What I was looking for in scrubs was something comfortable to wear around the house that would also work for responding to calls in the evening. The problem I have had with traditional scrubs is that there are usually no good pockets and I have to keep pulling them up (I'm not fat, but I do have a dad belly). What I found was a new favorite. These pants fit the bill in every way. The medium tall fit me perfectly (6'4" with a 34-36 waist). You can wear them with a belt so you're not constantly pulling them up - I don't even use the ties generally as I use a belt. But when I respond at night I can pull these on fast and just tie them. There are plenty of good pockets for wallet, keys, and cell phone. One of the side pockets has a Velcro closure so it's great for a wallet.

It's hard to find scrubs with elastic waist bands, but Dickies had them and I love them! They are so comfortable.

I purchased pants for my husband and myself to wear on an Amazon River cruise. They were excellent quality and exactly what we needed...sturdy, but lightweight with extra pockets. Also, the cost about a fifth the price of the fancy hiking pants with the zip off shorts no one ever uses. When I had to exchange my husband's pants, they sent me the larger size I needed, and told me to donate the others! What a wonderful company. I will definitely buy from them again.

I found these trousers to be most accommodating to the curves and angles of my body. Low maintenance fabric. Great fit. My husband won't wear any other brand. Prior to my purchase of Dickies for him, he was wearing generic scrubs. He won't wear anything but Dickies now. I tease him referring to them as Designer Scrubs.

I bought them for 2 reasons. One, the Dickies brand holds up well and 2 the belt loops. As a male nurse the ties and elastic are great for some people but I want my belt to be able to hold the tools of my trade. You were the only ones I found making men's pants with belt loops

My husband has a weight issue and pants that snap and need a belt have become uncomfortable. He likes the elastic waist band and the draw string helps to keep them snug (he has no butt). These have worked out very well. He can wear these all day with comfort.

I had 4 pair of this style of Dickies scrubs and they are very durable and can put up with a lot of movement, etc. I ordered three more pair, and will buy the rest of the colors I don't have soon! Excellent value!
