The belt is thick, high quality leather. It fit just right, with the clip through the third hole, and no slippage. Highly recomend!

STILL no belts in larger sizes. Must have run out of longer pieces of leather at Carhartt.

These are beautiful belts. The leather stands up to use but gets a bit softer with use. Not enough to lose shape but enough to feel great in your hands. My last one was still beautiful after being used almost daily for over 5 years. I only bought a new one because I lost a lot of weight.
