Bought 2 weeks ago and so far very happy. Very comfortable and nice and wide. Only issue I had was the tongue tag Arc'Teryx isn't for pulling on when getting the shoe on or adjusting the tongue. Left shoe tag came away from its seam after a hand full of wears. So no due pressure on that. Despite that, plenty other areas to pull on to adjust shoe.

I think this is my 3rd pair of theses shoes and they've all been great. They're comfortable, perform well on and off the trails and are durable.

Ive had these LD 3s since they first came out. I can last all day in these (including all day on the concrete jungle of Disneyland). My feet usually hurt at the end of the day in just about every other shoe. These are a great width too, not too narrow. I think Arcteryx nailed this gen of LDs.

Owned the Norvan LD 2's and thought they were awesome. Absolutely beat the snot out of them. Bought the Norvan LD 3's as a replacement and so far live up to the prior gens feats but not a huge fan of the extra foam. I use these shoes for scrambling and long days in the back country around alongside runs and everyday activities in the Chugach range and Valdez Alaska and have yet to have them fail me. Over 50 miles on them and they look good as new still.

Ran around 150 miles total - including the second half of a 100 miler. Traction on everything other than slimy wood is great and have total confidence. Cushioning is fine for very long distances and protects feet from uneven ground for hours. Shoe is very stable. Fits true to size and width is adequate in the toe box. I have narrow feet and need to wear thicker socks with this to help with midfoot hold. Build quality is amazing - this is an absolute tank. Shows virtually no wear anywhere on the shoe and I can trash shoes easily.
I wouldn't take it more than 50 miles though for a few reasons. None of these are deal breakers but worth noting:
1. The front of the shoe needs to be a few mm higher it sits too low and can feel your toes when climbing.
2. Need softer material around the ankle and side of ankle (i.e. where you step into). I can't wear thin socks without getting irritated around the side of the ankle.
3. The laces are not grippy enough unless very careful to cinch down.
4. The toebox is fairly generous but the material isn't stretchy enough around the little toes so when toes do swell they feel confined and this causes problems.
5. Little squeaky running on roads
6. Water drainage is acceptable but not as good as others
7. I suspect may have problems in very hot conditions with breathability but not tested.

Bought 2 months ago for Morocco trip. Overall excellent comfort, grip and durability. Would have been five stars but for one annoying thing footbed's are of poor quality. They formed up around my heel exposing my toes and any amount of re-positioning would not solve. Would of expected more given high quality brandlove all of my Arc'teryx gear!

Arc'teryx are not alone in this - but I still do not understand why supposed premium shoes come with ill fitting poor insoles. My UK size 11 insoles would progressively slide back in the shoe to the point where my toes could feel the undersole. Please partner with a brand that knows how to make insoles (sidas, sorbothane, ortholite)! The insoles have no structure around the heel cup which is the main issue. I have now swapped my insoles for those from an old pair of Hoka Clifton 7s and they work perfectly. Final issue - the laces twist up and undo to easily - change the material. I have put about 400km into these shoes.

I read earlier review that LD3 had a wider toe box than previous iteration, but I still had to order up 1/2 size up from my usual size 9.5 because shoe not wide enough. Kudos for replacing the mismatched colour (Relic) sole on earlier version of the black shoe with black sole. Recent purchase so not enough use to comment on performance.

I want to love these shoes - the ride is really great, but even after ~100kms the plasticy water barrier layer (that keeps in more water than it keeps out) is giving me horrendous blisters on the outsides of my big and pinky toes. You can feel how rough it is on the inside. Unfortunately I can't run more than a few kms before the problems start. These are the first running shoes I have had in decades to give me blisters.

This review is not based on use, but on looks, because I have had a few pairs of Arcteryx shoes before that I liked very much.
I hate the look of the chunky outer heels on these. I returned them... this is not Balenciaga. I want a minimalist look without the overly "fashionable" aspect of what's in style right now. These are still shoes that I want to buy for hiking first, and then style.

I tried these out on a 2-day, 30-km hike. I can already see the glue that holds the upper together coming apart and parts of the exterior are spalling. They're comfortable, but flimsy and look like they'd be trashed after a couple weeks worth of trail use. Stick to the sidewalk with these. Would not recommend.

I love my the LD2 and wanted to love the LD3 but the high ankle cuff of the LD3 bites into my ankle bones, unlike the LD2. Had to send back for this reason, too bad. I had the high cuff ankle bite problem with the Aerios FL too.

I bought these in anticipation of a 50+ mile ultra in the arctic tundra. As my training runs progressed leading up to the race, I decided against running in them. They have very poor breathability -- trap both heat and moisture - This is the recipe for discomfort and blistering. Which leads me to the main gripe -- the material of the upper. Across the board, they are simply overbuilt. The materials are not forgiving or flexible enough to go long. The meshes are too heavy, stiff, and unforgiving to allow you to feel light and fast which is what you need on a 10 hour run. These might be good for hiking mildly technical trails in cooler conditions where shoe breathability is not of paramount importance, but aside from that application they are a poor match for the job. FWIW I ran the race in the Salomon S/Lab Pulsar, and it performed beautifully.

Comfy shoes but they need to work on the mesh part. It is so weak.

Upper mesh tore after using a little over a year. Shoes cost way too much only last that long. That is unfortunate because the sole is comfortable and extra grippy, mesh is very breathable but doesn't hold up even on light trail hikes which is all I used these for.

I bought these a few months ago and keep getting blisters with them after 5km no matter what I do. I've tried new socks, tying them looser, tighter and every time I get blisters all over. This has never happened with any other running shoes I've bought. Really disappointing especially at this price point.

I have owned Norvan LDs from all three generations - LD1, LD2, LD3, All three shoes broke after light and fairly short use (between 6 months and 1 year) at the exact same spot - where the upper mesh is attached to the lower part of the shoe.
Arc'teryx makes great clothing, and I own many pieces that are still like new - many many years after I bought and used them.
But venturing into shoes seems like a mistake, as Arc'teryx does not seem to have the expertise here. I would suggest to stick with what the company does best (awesome pieces of clothing), but leave shoes to companies that really know what they are doing (Salomon, Merrel, La Sportiva etc etc).
