Great shoe, pure perfection. I usually wear a size 11, I ordered a 10 1/2 and they fit perfectly. I find that in Salewa and Asolo both tend to run a half size larger. Scarpa, on the other hand runs more true to size and size 11 is what is what fits me. Such a great shoe by Salewa I just ordered a pair of Alp Mate winter boots (wool insulated/waterproof) in size 11 figuring the insulation and thick wool socks will make the fit just right. Overall, I did order another pair of Salewa!

Most Salewa shoes are too narrow for me, but this is my second pair of the Alp Trainers. I have a few hundred miles on the first pair and the fact that I purchased a second pair should say a lot about my experience with these shoes.

Fit was good with a wide toe box which I need. It was made even better with the lacing extending to the toes allowing for fine tuning the fit. First time out was a hike to the summit of Whiteface mountain in the Adirondacks. Quite a steep and rocky trail. Never slipped once up or down. Very satisfied with this shoes performance.

One of the best pairs of approach shoes I've ever had. I was a big La Sportiva fan but their sizing got weird over the last couple of years. These are better.

Perfect. Very comfortable. Took a hike as soon as I received it, and it felt wonderful.
