Tread could be deeper for winter wear. Stylish yet simple...more of a street boot than a hiking boot.

I found these a tad small, I usually wear a 9 or 9.5, so I started with the 9. I realized I wouldn't be able to wear heavier socks with them so I decided to send them back. I also realized they would need a decent breaking in period and I won't have the time to do so before I need to take them on a trip, so I decided they weren't for me. They were well made, very nice, felt like they would be warm and comfortable long-term.

These are really great work boots or snow boots. They're quite heavy with good tread. I found them really comfortable, but I was looking for something more for everyday wear so I ended up returning them. If you're looking for a heavier style you'll love these.

Amazingly made boots. Very supportive sole without too much arch support for my poor flat feet. I can't handle much arch and these support without the arch digging into my foot which is very nice! Excellent quality leather with a nice flannel on the inside. I'm only having one issue..for some reason they keep pulling my socks down. Kinda weird. I'm going to keep trying different socks and I did change out the insole today which helped. My super picky feet like these boots so ill figure out the sock issue. Thoughts Zappos team? I'm open to ideas :) thanks for putting up with me ordering so many pairs. These should keep me going for a few years now!

A beautiful boot! I love this shoe - extremely stylish and comfortable. I ordered a half-size larger and am glad I did. They run a bit small but the 9.5 is a perfect fit. The cloth lining makes it difficult to wear socks with, since the socks tend to get eaten by the boot, but I wear them without and they are like slippers! Total comfort and beautifully crafted. I highly recommend!

wonderfully comfortable boots!

I bought a 9 and it fit great, good support and attractive. A Good sole to walk in bad weather with.

These fit great and were comfortable, but I returned them because they looked more like a rugged work boot to me in person and I was going for a different look.

These boots are wonderful! I needed some boots that are comfortable but will give my weak ankles the support I need, as well as a decent arch. I love Born boots and these did not disappoint. I bought a second pair in black! Highly recommend.

A more casual boot. Very comfortable as I expect Born to be, slightly wider toe box so your toes aren’t squished. I have a mostly narrow foot, but arthritis in my fore foot so I can’t have them squished. This fits me in the heel and mid foot well and Govea my toes room to spread without being too big or needing to find a wide size. Living in FL I won’t get much use out of them, I may send them back since I’m keeping another Born pair I ordered at the same time.

Love these boots! Perfect fit, very comfortable, love that they are true lace ups, no zipper. Only wish they were a bit warmer for winter in cold climate.

Super comfy! Nice weight to them. I just don't like how they look on me.

These were not for me. I love Born boots normally and own several, but these felt big, stiff, and inwardly pronated. The style was just okay on my big feet. I didn't find them comfy or cute, so back they go.

Too heavy

I wanted to love these. I have numerous Born boots and these just aren’t comfortable in the same way. They are stiff in the ankle in a way that makes them hard to wear. I’m sad I missed my return window!
