This boot was roomy enough for me to put in my own orthotics and still have room for socks. The heel is loose, but it doesn't pull down my socks like so many do and isn't bothersome. The zipper is not easy, but I can slip my foot into the shoe without using the zipper. That probably wouldn't work for people with high arches to wide feed. My foot is long, flexible, and narrowish. I would have liked a softer textile lining, so I could wear these barefoot, but since this boot works so well with socks, it's not a deal breaker.

Cute booties, love the back zip but the comfort wasn’t there for me. I have to admit, I have really crappy feel, thanks to Zappos I’m able to at least give some different styles a chance. Some work, some don’t. I was looking for a pair of boots for an upcoming trip to Norway, these had the lug soles and are waterproof that were 2 requirements I needed but since I’m limited on outdoor wear for this trip these didn’t work. For me, they’d be cute to wear with leggings or a skirt/dress. I’ve tried a few other pair of Sorel but the stretch elastic made them hard to put on and they ‘ate my socks’ , they’re are nearly perfect with the back zip, if they just had more cushioning I’d have kept them. Maybe I’ll try again in the future but for now they’re a no go. Thanks again Zappos.

I love that Sorel did an adaptive line - these are very cute. However, I wear leg braces and these were still a little tough to zip up- a little more give on the zipper near the bottom would have been perfect

Love these boots, no break-in needed they felt wonderful all day and I live in Alaska so they are waterproof and all my Sorel's are fantastic in the snow.

Shoe was originally too large. I'm usually a 9.5 but these were just too big. Since they are leather I went down a half size to accommodate strech. Zappos did a wonderful job with the exchange process. Very pleased with the product and the company.

The zippers were impossible to use. They caught every time. The boots were just stiff and uncomfortable with some slipping off the heel. I was hopeful because they are super cute, but they had to be returned.

I learned my lesson a long time ago … I only buy Sorel boots/booties. I have the black and the brown in this Chelsea style they are among my favs along with all of the other Sorel’s I own. I am ALMOST a true size 10 and all my Sorel boots/booties are a 9, all of them & all the styles.

I guess everyone’s different but I was confused by all the reviews that said “size up” and the equal amount of reviews that said “size down.” If in doubt just order your size! I did and it was perfect. These are comfortable and well made. The brown is definitely not as pretty as the picture. More drab. But still nice!

Love these boots, feels solid when I walk. Perfect amount of cushion and nice and wide at the top for no friction. My favorite new go to pair of shoes when running out the door with kids. They slip on and off easily. Looking to get another color soon.

They were just too narrow I would’ve loved a wide

So to start, I had to return these boots. BUT they were awesome. Looked solid, smelled like that yummy leather smell. Length was perfect. I have a pretty wide foot and they were just too narrow for me. I probably just need to try this in a wide. But the quality was great. I was so sad to have to send them back!

These are very cute, but very big. I’m exchanging for a half size smaller. Hoping they’ll be small enough!

I am typically an 8.5 and about a third of the time I am a 9, especially obviously if I'm planning on wearing with thick socks. I got these in a 9 and found them considerably too long even with thick socks. However, they were quite narrow in the toebox. That's sometimes a problem for me in 8.5 but less commonly a problem in 9. So overall, I would say these run a bit long and narrow. For contrast/in case this comparison is helpful, I ordered Sorrel Cate in 9 and found that almost too short for me and also narrow. So these definitely run longer than Cate.

I was surprised these rubbed in all the wrong places. My ankle had rub marks after a few minutes and something on the inside rubbed the top of my foot.

I love these boots but the heel zipper is really hard to use and now one of them has ripped away from the body of the shoe so it is unusable. Really disappointing because I do love them. Will not buy a heel zip boot again.

They looked cheap. I returned them.

Shoe was large with a very large collar opening that my feet easily pulled out of.

These are really cute, but the fit is just…off. My foot was slipping around, but if I went a size down they would be too short. Also, the arch support wasn’t where my arch is. I’m disappointed because I really love the look.

Wonderful shoe for snowy Colorado winter! Excellent traction on snow, ice, and mud. I read the other reviews and was happy the boot is slightly narrower, since I have a low-volume foot. With heavier socks, it fits perfectly.

This is a great boot for high alpine winters in Colorado. The soles are great on icy and snowy conditions, but still comfortable for walking around in the grocery store without being clunky. Waterproofing definitely works with these boots. I love them.

fantastic. maybe the tiniest bit on the larger side, like not even half a size. Just enough that for a boot they are perfect. love the comfort, the toe room, the water proofing.

Love Sorel brand and these didn't disappoint. Only issue is the flap over the heel zipper wants to fold over and get stuck in the zipper. I used a little dab of glue to hold it back in place. Size is accurate. Very comfortable.

Love these boots! so comfortable from the first day wearing. the ankle opening a little large but I have skinny ankles!

Fits like a glove. These are the most comfortable boots I have worn. I ordered 1/2 size larger than I usually wear and put in additional arch support and I am very surprised at how I can wear them all day without my feet hurting. I love them - very nice boots for inclement weather and just running errands in the snow.
