I loved these slippers, but I ordered the wrong size based on reviews that indicated they run large. I ordered a half size smaller, and they were too small. Unfortunately Zappo’s didn’t have the next size up in stock

My feet are about as wide as they are short and these, right out of the box, fit fantastic. That never happens! I usually have to take my shoes to get stretched to fit. They are comfortable, look great as a casual shoe, what a surprising find!

It is rare for me to order shoes and instantly be in love. The Convertawool offered one of those occasions. They fit perfectly with a lightweight pair of socks but are just a little loose worn barefoot. Not an issue for me but I will say they are SO comfortable against my bare feet that I kind of wish I had sized down. I plan to wear these primarily in the house as slippers and since winters are cold in the Northern Midwest, socks make sense. The arch support is fantastic and makes these shoes completely suitable for all-day wear as well.

I live in northern NH and my feet are always cold. Love how they look. Will wear them all winter in the house on cold floors!

I'll be wearing the Taos Convertawool as a house/porch slipper. The wool material feels wonderful! The shoe is comfortable with the full heel and does not slip off my foot while walking or using the stairs. I LOVE the design and look of the charcoal leopard, and I really appreciate the arch support and roomy toe box, which keep my feet pain free. I found them to be true to size and worth the investment.

Perfect right out of the box. I need a wide toe box and these could not be better. Very true to size. I will be getting more colors, but the charcoal is a good start.

The shoe has excellent heel cushioning and arch support. The workmanship and fabric are top notch. A really fine purchase!

I really like these shoes, which I wear indoors. I have a narrow foot, but since I wear socks, they fit properly. They look great and are comfortable.

These are amazing shoes. I recently developed plantar fasciitis, so I bought these as house shoes to offer more support than going barefoot. I ordered a bit larger than usual, as recommended in other reviews, and that was a good call. I have extremely high arches, so these were snug across the top of my foot at first (which is a consistent issue for me across all shoes, not a brand specific problem), but they stretched out after a week or so to fit more comfortably. They're absolutely perfect now. I'm seriously considering buying another pair in a different color.

I'm a size 8 so I ordered a 7-7.5 (38 European) and they fit great. They are slippers so not a tight fit. Super comfy I absolutely love them.

I love these slippers! They are warm, but not too warm. They have good arch support, which I need. I think the wool will stretch a little, so if you are between sizes, maybe size down. I do wish the back heel piece had more structure, that's why I gave them 4 stars

Although the shoes fit perfectly in length and width, they were too tight across my arch since I have a high instep. I didn't feel like they would stretch out since they are made of wool so unfortunately am returning them.

Fabulous slippers. Perfect width for my narrow feet. But the 38 is about an inch too short!!!! I’m returning and will order a 39 and hope I can keep it on. (I’m size 7 1/2.)

My Feet: Size 8, Med/Wide width, high instep, flat-ish arch, many bone spurs. What worked: Plenty of room in the length, plenty of room in the width, nice deep toe box. In-step was just about okay - had to wiggle my foot in, but once in the shoe the in-step was comfortable with a medium weight sock. What did NOT work: Very, Very firm insole - absolutely NO cushioning. If you have any problems with the bones in your feet or knee, I would not recommend these. I am so disappointed.

My husband consistently wears a size 9. These fit a half size small and narrow. Liked the look but had to return because of fit.

I love the look of these, but if you have even a moderately high instep, you won’t be able to get your foot in there. The top comes up pretty high on the top of your foot towards your ankle, and the space between the top edge of the slipper and the insole is about 1”. You’d need a pretty flat foot for these slippers to be wearable. They are well made and attractive, but I could see right away that they were not going to work for me.

I absolutely love these shoes. However, after only 6 months of wear, the material on the top is failing and wearing a hole through. Disappointed in the overall quality from a brand that I love.

The slippers have a more stylish look than most other slippers so I really wanted them to work, unfortunately, they did not. There is some arch support and the grey color is nice. However, the area under the ball of the foot feels like walking on a board. If all you need is arch support, these probably would be fine, but for anyone with even mild metatarsal issues, they do not work.

So these really are just a slipper. I had hoped they would work for casual outside the house wear too. They looked like they wouldn’t survive. They fit side and short. Normally I wear a 9 in regular shoes, a 9.5 in athletic shoes and have a standard width foot. If I had ordered a size up the side to side slipping wouldn’t have been too much. And my toes rubbed the front of the shoe. And really since they are just a slipper they are far tooooo expensive.
