Good buy at end of winter season for the protracted unusually cold and wet winter. Good quality material and workmanship, multiple zipped pockets, fits well for my 5'11" 165lbs non-muscular frame. Has some insulated padding both in the body and sleeves. Should keep me warm during chilly morning walk or ski slopes.

Great jacket, lightweight and very warm. Enjoy the features and plenty of pockets.

Lightweight w/ lots of pockets and pit zips. Oversized helmet hood can be reduced in size with special mini bungy in hood.

Was a terrific jacket for skiing, kept me warm, has plenty of pockets which was what got me interested and I have already ran it through the wash which turned out perfect without ruining the jacket.

If warmth is what you're looking for, this is the right answer. I hadn't bought a new parka or ski jacket for several years. I am amazed at the advances in technology. This warm -- really warm -- and includes just about everything else one would want: multiple pockets (just about everywhere) hidden / secure storage pockets inside, chin guard, good hood, powder skirt, etc.

Great jacket with the Omni-heat keeping me warm on chilly days. Vents in case you get too hotplenty of pockets, including a wrist pocket for your ski pass. My only complaint is the top velcro will rub my neck if I'm not wearing a face mask, but you can torsion the jacket to prevent this. I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend it.

Another great product! kept me warm with only a t-shirt underneath very light and seems sturdy. I loved the original silver lining Omni Heat Products I've had some of their jackets for years. This is the latest purchase as I wanted something warm but even lighter plus good for rainy weather. It definitely checks off all the needed marks for what I wanted haven't worn it in the rain yet but it I'm sure it will provide protection

Purchased this Columbia jacket one size larger than my normal size. This allows for sweaters or layered items to fit comfortably underneath.

Fit to size, all weather jacket. Light weight yet warm. Love the pockets and inner elastic skirt to keep the winter out. Also love the built in gloves/hand covers. Nice zipper and velcro fasteners.

The coat shipped quick and fits great. Really love the warm copper color. Was one of the only coats I could find with a powder skirt, thumb hold cuffs, pass pockets, helmet sized hood and all the other features I was hoping for. Would have expected a thicker coat with them staying it is insulated, but with the "gold" Omni-heat it was warmer than expected. It also did a much better job blocking the wind than my old coat on its first and only outing. Good enough I ordered the matching pants a couple of days after trying the coat. Looking forward to many more days on the mountain in this suit!

So for this is a great ski jacket, kept dry on a very soggy day. The orange is a bit more burnt orange than I was expected, it is not a bright vivid orange.

Great coat, just what I was looking for. Well, OK, I would have preferred all insulation, and no Omni Heat, but apparently that's not an option now. Anyway, great style, seemed like great quality. Unfortunately I didn't notice the fit, and it was a bit snug in the midsection, so will be returned. 6'3" 285lbs, ordered XXL, since once in a while those still fit. I suppose this makes the fit slightly large, as I usually wear a 3x or 3xT, but wasn't an option. Nice 2 way zipper, and hood was slightly insulated.

It's hard for me to give anything 5 stars in general, but this jacket is truly a nice jacket. It is very warm and some of the best quality.

Will keep you warm. Going to Colorado for Christmas. Wore it to see how it feels/fit and it's true to size. It is also warm, so don't do like me and wear it in Houston weather.

Jacket is fine but lately, size of Columbia jackets are way larger than size should dictate

I was looking for a new winter coat to replace my 10-year old Columbia winter coat that is finally starting to show its age. And, I thought that I might have found it. First off, forget the picture. This model must be 8 feet tall, since the coat is parka-length. Both the L and the XL go half-way down my thighs. As a point of reference, the outside hands pockets are about where my normal pants pockets are. Not what I was really looking for. I'm 5'9" and 230 lbs. Not exactly svelt, but not really fat either. I ordered both the L and the XL just in case. When I zipped up the L, I could hardly move. The XL was much better, but the neck was built for someone with a huge neck (even zipped up, I could easily stick my whole head through it). So, when I went outside, the air would get in, and the back of my neck (where there doesn't appear to be much insulation) would get really cold. This happened even with the hood up. And the weather around here has been in the '30s, so not really cold (hey, this is Michigan!). This was not what I was looking for in a winter jacket. I REALLY wanted to like this coat, because of its great features - Omniheat and Omnitech; lots of pockets; armpit zippers; hand-warming sleeves - just look at the list. But the fit on the coat - both L and XL - meant that they both had to go back. So, I'm back to looking again.

Not very black. Wish it was listed as light black and not just black... Great fit, warmth and waterproof!

I bought this coat for skiing, and I'm disappointed with how warm it keeps me. I have been skiing, in Utah, 5 times so far the temps have all been in the mid 20's (deg F, which is not vey cold) it did not keep me warm, even with three layers on. I am very disappointed with this coat as I expected it to be just as warm as my previous coats and it falls short.
