Great Fit Out of the Box! Thank you Zappos! I ordered the black in a 10 and 10.5 which I usually tend to be and the 10 fit perfectly, even with my custom orthotic. Slightly narrow in width but Excellent roomie toe box and I so appreciate the durable rubber bumper toe so I don't have the issue with my big toe eventually poking a hole in the top fabric. Even the tongue is slightly contoured upwards so no rubbing into front of my ankle. I plan to wear this shoe for daily urban and suburban walking and work at a school. Would love this exact style in other colors.

Salomon, please make this shoe in different colors/textures! The fit and comfort is FANTASTIC. I’ve never really understood what a supportive shoe should feel like until I slipped these on… but dang, they’re kinda frumpy lookin. It’s not even just the one all-over color that makes them look a bit like orthotics for seniors, it’s the smooth plastic bumper parts. As a previous reviewer noted, they sadly look a bit cheap. But I can’t sent them back because I’ve never felt so comfortable! Oh well. At the end of my next 10 mile day, I doubt I’ll care how stylish my shoes are!

this is a less expensive salomon shoe than i'm used to but it was the only black shoe available in my size. a little roomier than the trail runners and i wondered if i should gave ordered a 7.5 instead of a 8, but the fit is acceptable. a good looking shoe but a little cheaper looking than the more expensive ones. certainly a great shoe for the money. you can't go wrong with salomon!!

This pair was larger than my other Salomon shoes of the same size and the material in the uppers was inferior to my older versions. I am very disappointed.
