This makes a great undershirt! It's not itchy or irritating.

I already had a Smartwool shirt that I took on a 100 mile trip. It was really nice shirt to wash and wear. Would recommend. Also I bought a second one.

S S tee shirt , will be able to wear year round

Every winter I travel to warmer countries for 4 months and take the bare necessities as luggage. That means 2 t-shirts total. So I need merino wool as it can last days without needing a wash. The merino-polyester blend of this t-shirt allows it to hold up well with hand washing in the sink.

These tees are my winter base layer. Also fall and spring.

I wear smartwool shirts from a tank top, tshirt to a long sleeve exclusivly for hiking and backpacking and also at work as well as my smartwool gloves. They keep me warm when its cold or im wet and i dont overheat if its warm out. They never shrink in the dryer and dont make me itch either. I love the purple color too!! #sweepstakes

I love this shirt for hiking and backpacking. I dont overheat at all and at night or early in the cool morning in camp i put on a long sleeve smartwool over it if its chilli out. I finally found it in the purple color too so huge bonus. Im a stocky woman and found that the mens shirts come in bigger sizes and fit me much better than the womens. I wore both this tshirt and my long sleeve for 4 days in the yosemite wilderness with no stink other than when i got wet i laughed to myself that i smelled faintly like a sheep so hopefully a bear or couger isnt hungry but it was pretty faint and went away after i dried out. I have several smartwool shirts in tshirt, long sleeve, and i finally found a tank top too so im super excited about that. I also wear these to work and one winter i had no heat in my brush mowing tractor with temps down to the low twenties. It was COLD for the 10 hrs every day i was running it but between my smartwool layers of shirts, leggings and liner gloves under my regular gloves i stayed warm.

Much better value than the twice as expensive "Men's Merino Short Sleeve Tee" And this Men's Short Sleeve Tee is a bit longer, fyi. This fabric seems more user friendly, and holds its shape better around the collar and sleeve.

This shirt is a great daily wear. It is also perfect for running and hiking. It has all the benefits of merino wool while also being comfortable and looking great!

I wear short-sleeve tee-shirts made of wool year-round, and long-sleeve zip T-necks made of wool over those tee-shirts as the weather calls for. I love the fact that these garments require only infrequent washing, as long as one uses them in rotation -- giving them time to air-out between wearings. They wick moisture well and are comfortable next to the skin.
